Minnesota Vikings 28 @ New Orleans Saints 31: The View from Section 140 (Pictures!)

The wife and I had a Mardi Gras ball to attend the night before at the Hilton Riverside so we decided to stay at the hotel and make a weekend out of it. We spent the day walking around downtown and being tourists in our own city. I brought the camera with me everywhere we went and I think the result is a pretty cool photographic journey through the day. There's a good bit here and I hope it conveys the entire feel of the day. My finest photographic work to date, if I do say so myself. Enjoy.

Captions all day...

The Vikings Pimps – This shot is awesome! My man means business, and none of the funny kind. hahaha. starting from left;

 3) “I hope you HATE me.”
“Awww. C’mon mannn. Where did you get the Coors at?”
“It’s cool, I know these white boys are really my hoes.”
“HEYYYY, he looks like that guy form….ya know..with the uhhh…”

 5) $2,500…for that. Are you kidding me, that “Who Dat Cat” better be referring to some of the cheerleaders in picture 57.(OK Dave, great pics, but if you want captions, I’d like to get #’s next to the pics, Thanks.)

 12) “Your calender pics? Yes Honey, I got ’em. Love you too, By-e.” Seriously, why would you be walking around with that? I also thought about going with “Marry Me.”

 whatever) The Ying Yang Twins and the Nun,
Sister: “Don’t tell anyone, but I do love those horns! I gets me….ummmm…crunk!”
Twin: “Are you gonna-tell-why-they-gonna-crunk?”
Sister: “Yeah!”

Here is some bonus footage and some extra laughs courtesy of youtube and whatever news station decided to drag these guys in front of their cameras for their audiences pleasure???….

Confetti idea

not sure if they threw it all away, but I thought a good idea would have been to save it then sell portions of it with some type of other item like a small plaque or something commemorating this event, then have all the proceeds go to charity. I’d buy that.
