Saints 10 @ Panthers 23: Prediction Results and Voting

We had an interesting set of results to close out our regular season weekly prediction contest. Two members got all three of their predictions correct, though one of them put forth quite a lame effort. As such, I didn't bother including them in the poll. So for voting's sake I have also included the only member to get two of their three correct. You can be the judge.

Just a note: If you made a prediction about a player's performance in this game but they never played, regardless of whether or not it was correct, it is counted as wrong.

Now for the results.

Wow

I think I’m like 0 for my last 12 or 15! Maybe fir the divisional playoff round I’ll try reverse stategy and predict negatively. Perhaps then good things will happen for the Saints.

Dave...

why dont you do an extra Prediction for the wildcard weekend…. pick up the four winners…

You gotta go there to come back

on name recognition. I don’t care about the game. It was horrible. And I hate Charles Grant.

good season of posts from the coldpizza tho. So it’s more of a vote for seasonal achievement than correctness.

???? If corectness doesn't count let's give it to carolinasaintsfan.

I thought this was a contest not a Montessori drill, “You’re all winners for trying so everybody gets a blue ribbon!”

While I appreciate the recognition, that’s no reason for anyone to vote for me. If you think I had the more accurate set of predictions, fine. If not, please vote for saintfever09. Winning based on having the more recognizable screen name would be no less hollow a victory to me, than Week 17 was to the Panthers.

gotta give it to him. The other guy took ZERO risks! I mean, I could make predictions like “Mark Brunell throws for 100 yards” “Reggie Bush has 3 carries or more” “the defense gives up points”. Come on, how is the voting this close?

by Andrew Juge on Jan 7, 2010 10:34 AM CST reply actions

I think

that someone neutral asks a series of questions to all the participants and have each person predict the final score. That seems like it would be the most accurate.

we should make predictions for the New Orleans 2012 Superbowl now
