New Orleans Saints 13 @ Arizona Cardinals 10: Second Half Open Thread

Saints started off looking good. Saw a couple of big plays. But once again, thanks to turnovers, this game is much closer than it should be. Saintss get the ball to start the second half. Saints need to step it up. Greer needs to tighten up. Evans needs to stop holding.

This is your second half open thread.

love that picture of shockey

I missed all of the first half open thread – too busy watching the game. Is everyone in doom & gloom mode? What happened to the running game? Why is Brees’ throwing low? Why can’t we score 50 points?

I was being facetious

by HB-NOLA on Oct 10, 2010 4:51 PM CDT up reply actions

The good:

- Brees getting more yards.
- Colston getting some catches.
- Robinson tackling well.
- 1 INT and 1 FF (unfortunately recovered for a TD…)
- Betts looking decent.
- 3 sacks and Hall out of the game.

The bad:

- Not covering Fitzgerald
- Penalties at inopportune moments
- Turning away from the running game despite success.
- 2/5 on 3rd downs.
- 1/3 in the red zone.

If I am good I could add years to my life / I would rather add some life to my years.

by Jay Preece on Oct 10, 2010 4:49 PM CDT reply actions

as much as I like the Cowboys losing I can’t take the way we lost today – just hurts too much to enjoy the Cowboys loss

Can we hit the panic button now?

for all those “it’s okay” Saints fans out there…I’m asking the question. What do you think now? This is not a fluke. This is our team. SOP. The coaching is suspect. The offense is crap all around. Don’t give me the it’s okay garbage. I’m not buying it.

I think that's about right

This is not the same team. Missing Reggie and Pierre. And Sharper. Like it or not.

See ya later, Hotshot.

honestly my memory is terrible

I know it was 3. Can’t recall the first, the second I think was not good, oh yeah the first was off the hands of Betts, right? Or was that the second.

I’ll also say that bomb TD to Meachem was a desperation throw, underthrown, and Brees was lucky it was close enough to be caught. He got buried right after releasing it.

See ya later, Hotshot.

I guess if we would let GGM post his spells again, we might see a better team out there on the field. Every loss sucks, but this one is wayyyyyyyyyyyyy worse. Glad I couldn’t see the game. It may have prevented me from breaking up my belongings.

WIN AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!! How ya Luv Dat?!?!
