A good response from last week

What can I say.  It was a 360 degree difference from last week.  I'm proud of the way Sean Payton and the Saints responded yesterday after last Sunday's humiliation.

Just before kickoff,  I noticed the team was wearing the Black jerseys and Gold pants. I was like YES!!!   I love those uniforms.

On our first drive,  we were looking poised and balanced in the run and pass.  Then after back to back false start and delay of game penalties it was 2nd and 14.  Then Boom!  A gorgeous 41 yd pass to Lance Moore for a TD.  What a response to back to back penalties.   The team looked good out there.  The passion, the spark and the fire was back.  The Coach had that confident eye of the tiger look in his eyes.   His play calling was outstanding.    Drew Brees looked calm, confident and cool.    I was highly impressed with Ivory.  He fights for every yard and can "Power" run.   Julius Jones looked good as well.

If anyone agrees with me on this:  Did you see that spark yesterday?  The spark that was missing before?   I sure did.   And we played against a pretty good defense out there.

The red zone was not great by any means but much improved from the past weeks.  I thought the penalty on Graham was kind of bogus.   Speaking of penalty,  when Jenkins was called for late hit, why wasn't Freeman called for his unsportsmanlike?

Most importantly, I saw a well balanced offense instead of a very pass happy offense.   We're 4-2 tied with Atlanta.  And I'm good with that.  One game at a time.   Let's keep the consistency going and keep improving.  And don't overlook Cleveland,  they play good teams pretty tough.    It was a good Sunday.

We're 4-2 baby!!!   Let's go to 5-2!!
