I hate this poll

The only time our Saints make the poll is when they lose.

Then I'm glad we didn't make the poll

That's what happens when you're the best team in the league

No win seems impressive and every loss is surprising.

May there be a bunch of “surprises” for the people currently ranked higher than us, then. :)

Several of these are not great wins

Prior to this week, the Packers were 3-2 and missing their entire lineup, the Cowboys were 1-3, and the Chargers were 2-3. In what sense are these impressive victories? Solely because these teams were supposed to be good prior to the season?

By comparison, TB was 3-1, and a loss would have put the Saints 2 games back in the division (since they’d be 0-2 for all tiebreakers). I’d think our win was a bigger victory than any of those three.

That said, I voted for the Patriots…

It would have been a devastating loss, but as a win it’s “no big deal” because it was expected.

That’s why I voted for the Eagles. It was a devastating loss for the current leading team in the division (may that end soon!) and it brought a HUGE smile to my face to get to watch it on TV.

I think the Rams win speaks volumes in comparison to the others listed. The Chargers are supposed to be all that, right? Well not without LT and Jackson imo. Besides, I think the Chargers came in thinking this would be an easy win.

The Texans over the Chiefs was not too far off. I mean yes the Chiefs have been looking good but Schaub was going to find a way to win to shut the fans up. The fans there kinda sounded like Eagles fans.

Vikings over the Cowboys was expected. The Cowboys just suck more.

Eagles over the Falcons may be somewhat unexpected but not really when ya think about the fact that Eagles can soar higher than Falcons and look so much meaner when they’re bald.

The Patriots over the Ravens, eh. I must admit it was funny to see Brady act like a baby when he got tackled.
