Chicago Bears sign Charles Grant

Bears signed free agent DE Charles Grant.
Grant was property of the UFL's Omaha Nighthawks, so he must have finagled his way out of that contract. The team's release of Mark Anderson suggests misgivings about letting Alex Brown go this offseason. The 32-year-old Grant enjoyed a strong camp with the Dolphins, only to be released on cut-down day.

If he sits out on the street for a couple of weeks he might get some fire in his belly and come in hungry to perform. Then, and only then, would I give him a look.
