Hellooo fellow Who Dats!
I’m back after an extended work trip! Interesting note, I’ve been in Seahawk country the past 2 weeks, so I’ve been watching their games the past two Sundays. (They didn’t enjoy my fluer-de-lis hat at the Space Needle). My take on their offense is that Matt Hasselbeck is average at best, and he’s been banged up some this season. Charle Whitehurst is looking pretty bad, so if Hasselbeck’s wrist is bothering him we can expect some INTs.
Forsett isn’t bad at RB and shows some flashes of being pretty good every now and then. Marshawn Lynch’s flashes of greatness seem to consist of making 3 guys miss tackles and still getting dropped for a 2 yard loss. Beast Mode seems to be a thing of the past.
"I want to hand this trophy to the MVP of the Super Bowl -- and the MVP of the entire league.''
-- Saints coach Sean Payton, handing the Vince Lombardi Trophy to Drew Brees after Super Bowl 44.
Hasselbeck's wrist injury is on his non-throwing hand
Beast Mode’s problems are about the OL opening up holes for him. On many of his runs he has to carry multiple tacklers to get his 2-3 yards. Forsett is a very different type of back but has largely had more success behind the same line because he is playing out of a lot of obvious passing downs.

I guess I shouldn’t be surprised, but I kinda was a little bit to see the Seahawks have a couple more passing TDs than we do. And when I looked at their 3rd Qtr scoring compared to ours…. Pouyaille!
