CSC's Drink of the Week: The Sea Hawk
It's almost happy hour time and the start of weekend shenanigans. Yay! Once again I present to you another Saints opponent-inspired cocktail randomly found on the internet. Double Yay!
This week's drink is aptly named Sea Hawk and was found at ThatsTheSpirit.com (Personal note: I love the alcohol-inspired website names where I find these random recipes). You'll have to a well stocked bar to mix this one up otherwise you're going to have to spend a lot of money at your local liquor/grocery store and specifically buy each of the necessary ingredients, only to find out this drink sucks. (Like the actual Seattle football Seahawks?) To be honest, I can't even imagine what this would taste like. I would love if someone out there could actually put this together and let us know how it is.
Jump on over to learn just what goes into this unique concoction.
The Players
- 1/2 oz. Bermuda gold liqueur
- 1/2 oz. light rum
- 1 oz. dark rum
- dash Cointreau
- dash grenadine
- juice of 1 lime
- juice of 1/2 orange
The Gameplan
- Fill silver mug with shaved ice
- Mix ingredients with cracked ice in a shaker or blender
- Strain into mug.

Serious question
Why have images or videos of beautiful women involved in violent activities become so popular lately? Especially: why do so many men now lust over women who can kick their asses?
It was worth the wait.
I just think that images of beautiful women doing ANYTHING are always popular among internet-surfing men
It's gonna be a great year.

That doesn’t explain why images of women fighting have become so popular. I mean, if they could be doing anything, why don’t we see more videos of beautiful women washing dishes or translating Bulgarian legal documents?
It was worth the wait.
maybe we are seeing more of these
It's gonna be a great year.

A theory
I agree with Hans. Internet surfing men would watch beautiful women do anything. But if they were just sitting there looking pretty some would say we were ‘exploiting’ them. Put them in an agressive activity and say we are ‘empowering’ them. A thin veil of political correctness to achieve the same goal of getting Internet surfing guys attention. Or something.
