Poll: Saints Nominated for NFL Victory of the Week

**This post is sponsored by Prilosec.**

Each week on Tuesday, all of the SB Nation NFL blogs will be polling their readers to determine which team had the Victory of the Week. On Wednesday, we'll post the overall winner on SB Nation's NFL page. You may base your selection on any criteria you'd like. Once again, our team has made the ballot but this time's its for a stunning win, not a crushing loss.

For obvious reasons, I picked the Saints

but in terms of what it meant for a team’s direction for the rest of the season, I think the Saints’ win over Pittsburgh was definitely the most significant of the week. I would be remiss, however, if I did not express admiration for the Packers managing to shut out the Jets on the road. That was pretty impressive.

Lions over Redskins all day

Had Rex Grossman not been involved with that loss, that’s the way I would’ve voted.

I don’t see why…most people i talked to liked the lions in that game. Myself included. They’ve been playing great, and just got Stafford back. Redskins have been garbage offensively.

What was up with that? Did Shanahan have a “chilly” moment?

I voted Packers over Jets. Jets just off a bye, been living high on the hog. Anytime Sanchize gets blanked….i giggle.

I’m glad I’m not the only one.

I really want the Lions to do well

That's why I voted for them.

The Saints and Packers victories were more significant to the potential playoff seeding, but the Lions and their fans deserve every break they can get.

I went with the Pack

That was the result ,and particularly the big fat zero for the home team,
which made me think “wow”.
