CSC's Drink of the Week: Panther Piss

I'm often amazed at what can be found on the internet. So when I was looking for a concoction to go with this weeks Saints/Panthers matchup for our Captain Morgans sponsored post, I typed "drink recipe Panther" into my favorite search engine. I was pleasantly surprised to find the perfect creation from a website called DrinksMixer.com. It's called Panther Piss. I know, it's great.

Actually, it sounds very refreshing and reading the ingredients right now is making me thirsty though I'm not really sure how the drink got it's name. Make the jump to learn how get one in your mouth right now.

The Players

2oz. white rum
1oz. triple sec
1 splash freshly squeezed lime juice
3-4oz. Sprite® soda

The Gameplan

Fill an old-fashioned glass 3/4 filled with ice cubes.
Stir the rum, triple sec and lime juice together in glass.
Fill with Sprite and serve.

Question for you Dave. Every week someone from the rival team comes over to answer questions. In return, it seems that someone from CSC goes over to do the same on the opposing site.

Do you choose the representative, or merely let which ever CSC’er has the desire to handle it for that week? Just curious.

I like handling the posts, feels like I’m contributing to the blog in a way. And if nothing else, I’m helping out rather than being a waste of bandwith.

Can we make suggestions?

Not really related to Carolina or the Saints, but hey, it has rum in it, so maybe Captain Morgan will give you some money. Pfft.

Add 3 chunks pineapple to a pint glass
Add 1oz. simple syrup, muddle to a messy puree.
Add 3 oz. rum (we use a 3:2:1 mixture of Cruzan Black Strap, Cruzan Pineapple and Cruzan Light but hey, don’t be fussy).
Add 1 oz, fresh lime juice.
Add 1/4 oz grenadine.
Add 1 oz water.
Shake with ice.

Pour (without straining) into glass, garnish with pineapple and maraschino cherry flag. Awesome.
