PrintCertainly not the best half of football we've seen the Saints play this season but they're in control thanks to the defense and a very weak, banged up Panther football team.
This is the last 30 minutes of Saints football for the next two weeks so enjoy them.

For the 2nd half look for more blitzes/sacks, a couple of interceptions, and even more use of the TE’s.

what I don't understand
If you’re the panthers coach, your starting QB is out, starting RBs are out, why not reach into the back of the playbook for some trick plays? cleveland tore this defense apart with trick plays (and fujita)

Jason Hanson got hurt, roughing the kicker, which allowed Stafford to run in for the TD. Suh is the backup kicker. Actually they didn’t have a backup kicker, Suh wanted to do it and no one had the nuts to tell him no.
