Rams @ Saints: Game Predictions

1. Stop me if you’ve heard this one……Brees does not throw an interception.

2. Sam Bradford hits a rookie wall. He commits more turnovers (combined INTs and Fumbles) than TDs (passing and rushing).

3. Chris Long causes havoc all game. Finishes with at least 1.5 sacks.

1. Brees passer rating of at least 110.0.
2. Defense and/or Special Teams score at least 1 TD.
3. Saints hold Rams to less than 100 yards rushing.

Chris Long will have 2 or more sacks

Danny Amendola’s returns will average between 35-55 yards

Steve Jackson and Chris Ivory will both have a 100+ yard game

1) Rams score a TD on first possession via 20+ yard run by Steve Jackson.
2) Saints convert over 50% third downs.
3) Hartley is not needed for a field goal.

1. Drew throws for 2 TD’s
2. Ivory gets 1 TD
3. 3 or less holding penalties

BONUS: Pierre scores on his famous screen. No one does it better.
EXTRA BONUS: Peyton runs out of juicy fruit and almost has a meltdown.

Bonus #1… after the game some CSC bloggers committ suicide apparently because the win doesnt fit any theoretical model for which the Saints suck….

1. Steven Jackson and Chris Ivory’s rushing totals are within 15 yards of each other.

2. Drew Brees’ QB rating is at least 25 points higher than Sam Bradford’s.

3. Chase Daniel comes in sometime in the 4th quarter.

1. Shockey catches at least 3 passes of 20+ yds. each.
2. Tusk rushes for at least 100 yds.
3. Jimmy Graham scores at least 1 TD.

Bonus: Mnt.Exile gets all of his predictions right even though there is no mention of beer, boobies, or burgers in any of them.

1. Brees, after all of this weeks games will be atop in most touchdowns and most yards in the NFL.
2. Lance Moore scores a touchdown.
3. Pierre Thomas makes a touchdown.
 Lagniappe: Right after half time, the Saints take notice that Carolina is beating the birds by 20 so they kick it up and start putting on the burners even higher. The Rams coach points to the board in disgust like saying, why do they have to show those scores like that?

1) Brees throws for at least 350 yds
2) PT score a TD
3) Saints get 3 INTS

Bonus-atlanta gets upset by carolina and we have a chance to win out and win the div and home field advantage

Bounus Ryan goes out of Atlanta game in the upset.

1. Brees 3 or more total TDs (passing and/or rushing)
2. Defense gets 3 or more sacks
3. Saints have no punting touchbacks

1. Hartley hits a FG of over 45 yds
2. Devery Henderson comes back from the grave to score a TD
3. Saints intercept Bradford 2 times or more

1. Rams D gets at least 3 sacks (sorry Drew, but at least hold onto the ball!)
2. When Drew is able to pass, he puts on a clinic…at least 300 yds & 75% completions.
3. Jackson held under 100 yds rushing, while Saints get over 125 yds on the ground.

1. Both Brees and Bradford have 250+ yards passing
2. Jackson and Ivory rush for 200+ yards combined
3. Brees doesn’t throw an interception

1. Saints bend but don’t break as they stop the rams inside the red zone to force 3 field goals. Steven Jackson does gouge the saints for one long rushing TD (25 – 30 yds), and has a 100 yds of overall rushing.

2. The Saints, meanwhile, score 3 TDs inside the red zone: via screen to Pierre Thomas, Chris ivory rush TD, and a Brees play action connection to Moore.

3. Reggie Bush has a catch and run TD.

3. The Saints Score once more on a 50 + bomb to Devery Henderson.

1. Bradford has hard time in the noisy dome. Rams get 4 false start and/or delay of game penalties. AT one point, Bradford calls for a time out before the play clock expires.
2. The flying Frenchman takes a screen pass 20+ yards.
3. With The Tusk playing so well, the passing game opens up. Drew throws for over 350 yards with a 120+ passer rating.

Bonus… This is going to be the game we have all been waiting on. With the Atl upset being over by the end of the 1st quarter, The Dome will rock like never before this season.

I can’t get this prediction thing figured out, so I’m going ultra conservative this week with a lot of “at least” :-)

1) Brees throws for at least 300 yds, and at least 2 TDs, with no picks…

2) Chris Ivory has at least one rushing TD and less than 100 yds rushing

3) D has at least one turnover and allows more than 100 yds rushing

1. Saints score first and are never behind.
2, Bress passes for at least 250 yards.
3. Bush gets 100 yards rushing.

1) Hartley kicks 4 FGs
2) Reggie gets at least one short-yardage TD (short-yardage = goal-to-go: 9 yards or less)
3) Drew is not sacked once, but gets hurried and knocked down a bit.

1. Saints score on their opening drive
2. Saints have another come from behind victory in the 4th
3. Drew has >300 yards passing

1. Saints total passing yardage is at least 400 yards.
2. At least 2 different Saints tight ends score.
3. Saints win turnover battle by a margin of at least +2.

1. Rams open the scoring with a FG
2. Saints up by 14 at half time.
3. No Saints RB rushes for more than 70 yards.

1. Steven Jackson has at least one 20+ yard rush
2. Drew Brees throws no INTs
3. Reggie scores

1.Brees has a 40 + yd. TD pass.
2.Saints RB’s combine for 130+ rush yds.
3.Colston scores.

1. Saints score on their first and second possession.
2. Sam Bradford throws at least one INT and fumbles once
3. Saints do not trail at any point in this game

1) Bradford 3 turnovers.

2)Saints return kick for TD.

3)3 Saints receivers score.

1. Saints have 4+ different people with rushing stats
2. at least 8 people with receiving stats
3. Bradford gets sacked 2+ times

1. Saints win turnover battle.

2. Devery Henderson records a touchdown catch.

3. Reggie Bush does not fumble the ball and records 10 touches. (HIGH FIVE, Wang!)
