Fleur-de-Links Saturday, December 11: Bring on the Rams!

He calls this one "Blue Steel." (Photo by Joe Robbins/Getty Images)

Good morning, CSCers!  Time to read up on the late Friday and early Saturday news from the Saints and Rams respective camps.

I don't know about you, but I'm glad we are not talking about the weather this week.  It will be a balmy 72 degrees in the Dome, Sweet Dome tomorrow at kickoff, with neglible wind effects.

If anyone else is doing holiday baking like the wife and myself later on today, I hope you enjoy it as much as we do!

Spice cake and Dutch apple pie, actually

Gotta feed that sweet tooth while the Saints smash the Rams tomorrow.

It was worth the wait.

Loud Crowd

Bradford’s hard count should be a moot point if Peyton and Brees have the Dome whipped into a first-class frenzy. Rams see this game as a season-maker, no doubt, so should Saints fans.

Loud crowd helps thoughout, though.

Like when we played Pittsburgh, Alex Brown kept getting the crowd up, encouraging the crowd when the defense was on the field.

I think loud helps our guys as much as it might trip up the opponent’s offense. As long as it’s smart, loud when they are supposed to be, quiet when they aren’t.

This 3pm start is going to drive me nuts

good thing it’s not a far drive. Oh, but I forgot, I’m a Lions fan now, so I’m not too worried about it.
