Fleur-de-Links Saturday, December 18: Saints Are On The Defensive
Lots of talk lately about the New Orleans Saints defense and how it compares to the Baltimore Ravens defense. Which unit will prevail on Sunday? If only there were some way to answer this question. Oh yeah, the final score. Both teams' offenses will have a little something to say about that, however.
In today's F-D-L, we have snippets from Gregg Williams' press conference, Miami LB pieces, a bit on Josh Wilson, who saved the game for Baltimore last week (could he be the Ravens' Malcolm Jenkins?...aw, I'm just Joshin' - see what I did there? It's no Janksgiving, but it's in the ballpark, isn't it?), Friday's final injury report, some feature stories from the Saints and Ravens, another weather outlook, and game previews.
Given it's December, and we're outdoors, here's a link to the current conditions for the 21230 (Baltimore, MD).

The Saints do have a better defense and offense than the Ravens. But tomorrow will be nice to here the t.v. folks talk about how much better the Saints defense is than the Ravens defense instead of always hearing about how great the Ravens defense is.
We haven’t heard too much talk this year about the Saints being so great, but things will start changing tomorrow and the Saints will be the main news again this year. The hell with always hearing about the Falcons, Patriots and Pittsburgh. We used to hear about the Jets and Bucs alot this year, but look what happened to them.
So Falcons, the seasons by far over with for us, how bout u?

Oh also
The Falcons better look like going 13-3 this year and win the division because the Saints will be 13-3. Anything below that will not give the Falcons the division. I really think that the Seahawks will win tomorrow and of course the Falcons will lose the following week and by the time they play the Panthers, they’ll be so screwed up and lose that one also. So, I still give them a shot at the wild card at 11-5. Their luck will come to an end like the Jets and Bucs. (Of course the Bucs did luck out again last week), but how can a team like that match up in the playoffs, they couldn’t get close enough to be lucky enough to win. The Falcons know that the 3 point win against the Saints this year was by far the hardest game they’ve played this year. So they know that this upcoming game is a loss for them.
Bye, Bye birdies.
I do love our rivalry
But the only way we lose tomorrow is if we are too busy looking ahead to the Monday nighter, and the only dangerous thing the hawks have is a return game. The Monday game, I think you guys win to be honest and if you seriously think we lose to the panthers at home..I truly don’t know what to say. Goodluck with your game tomorrow and i hope the saints stay healthy.

Seahawks are dangerous at home.
But there is a better chance of the sky turning purple, grass turning blue, and the Vikings blogger being inducted into Sainthood than you guys losing at home to the Panthers unless you are resting starters.

At least the weather doesn't look as bad as we feared.
I’t’s supposed to be 36 at noon, partly sunny, 10-20% chance of percipitation (which i guess in Baltimore in December means snow).
Not at 32+. It might start as snow if the clouds are colder, of course, but it would melt on the way down.
Only 10% chance of percip
But temp will feel in the upper 20’s. That’s when the Ravens do most of their damage.
