SportsBUZZ Launch Party Tonight

Tonight I plan on attending a special launch party for SportsBUZZ.com being held at House of Blues in the quarter. SportsBuzz is an online community powered by professional athletes that allows fans to gain inside access and interact with their favorite athletes. They've already got content up from Saints players like Will Smith, Scott Shanle, Alex Brown, Chase Daniel, Garrett Hartley and Remi Ayodele.

If you live in the New Orleans area, you can get more information about the event and, even more importantly. win a chance to attend and win a Saints meet-and-greet experience by going right here. Apparently there will be a player vs. fan Madden tournament and a MNF viewing party.

Pierre Thomas, Danny Clark, Jermon Bushrod and other Saints players will be in attendance tonight so I will be bringing my digital camera/video and will hopefully have access to them at some point tonight. So if you've got any good ideas for questions you'd like me to ask, let's hear 'em in the comment section.

I’ve got a lot of BAD ideas for questions, but no good ones. Example: Will Smith: “So, when did you stop beating your wife?” Ok, sorry. Cheapie. Shanle: “You know, some day you’ll HAVE to shave your head like that. Or are we already past that point?” PT: “So, you think you’ll ever play again, or not? And can I have your autograph?” Danny Clark: “What happened to you after 2006? You know, when I play Madden 07 on Wii, you’re my favorite linebacker. Really moving and hitting good and… hey, where’d he go?” Chase Daniel: “Actually, you’re shorter and fatter than Drew Brees and are nothing like him in any other way. Think you’ll ever really get to play in an NFL game?”

I want a short haired girl who sometimes wears it twice as long.

When sitting on the sidelines with coaches and other players, what conversations are going on? Just some small talk to pass the time, or what the defense is doing (if offense) or what the offense is doing (if defense)?

How long, on average, do they study the playbook and how many times does Drew audible at the line?
