1. Duncan says that Garcon’s drop “didn’t seem like much at the time.” Sure it did. I knew, and everyone watching knew, that forcing the Colts to punt was huge. But you know what? Mistakes like that are exactly what a bend-but-don’t-break approach is predicated on. If the other team is virtually perfect, you’ll bend all the way to the end zone (which is what happened, ironically, to the Colts). But if the other team isn’t perfect—and they rarely are—eventually a mistake will kill an entire drive. This wasn’t a “break”: it was the plan all along.
2. Who knocked down the ball on Manning’s long pass to Collie? I’ve looked at it over and over again, and I still can’t untangle the arms. On first watching it, I was sure Collie knocked it away to prevent an interception. Looking at the photo accompanying this story, it looks just like that: Collie’s hand is coming between Vilma’s, ready to punch the ball out.
3. If anything happens to Reggie, we should have Tracy Porter as a full-time punt returner. Give him a crease and he’s gone.
"We’re running Ambush."
Maybe
but for me i’d rather trade him to the eagles for their first round choice, they need him. Take that choice O.L. use ours on that kid from ole miss Deven.
