Calling all fans of the Champs!
Obviously, the New Orelans Saints are the Super Bowl Champions and will be for at least one more year! This has made me personally and most everyone that frequents this site extremely happy and proud to be a saints fan. However, there are some of us that do not seem to be enjoying it as much as others and are acting like they are fans of the "aints". Remember everyone and say together, The Saints won the Super Bowl!! It does not matter so much if another team (i.e. the Vikings) are crying that they gave the NFC Championship to us or the talking heads on ESPN think there are things the Saints could have done better or that the Colts would have won if they did certain things better. Let's face it - when there are newspapers to sell and tv time to fill, people need to find negatives. So let's all remember again that our team, the guys on our teams are winners and act like winners instead of crybabies. After all, the New Orleans Saints are the Super Bowl 44 Champinos!

That's right
Enjoy the moment while it lasts. We long-disappointed fans deserve it. To hell with the bitter fans of other teams we vanquished this year. Now they know how we’ve felt for the past 43 years.
"As soon as Tony (Dungy) said we had no chance, I knew we had 'em right where we wanted 'em"--Coach Sean Payton right after Super Bowl XLIV with the Lombardi Trophy firmly in hand. WHO DAT!!

As Wynton Marsalis said,
“Have you ever waited so long for something that waiting becomes the something?”
“It’s like waiting 43 years for someone to say, “I love you” back. And, they do."
Personally, I’m just taking my time and savoring every lovely moment. Two days ago one of my favorite cousins passed away at just 52 years of age. During this time of grief, family members are saying how wonderful it was that he lived to see the Saints win the Superbowl. It actually lifts some spirits.
I guess we all have our priorities in life. Right now my priority is to relax, enjoy it, and let others around me do what they will.
Happy, Happy, Joy, Joy for sure!

I have avoided reading the immediate nola.com coverage on-line because I wanted to experience it with the actual paper in my hands and smell the ink and turn the pages and take in the layout and enjoy the pictures…It will make for fine reading tonight!
Savoring continues for me…
