We finally got one! For the first time, a player has been elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame based on his body of work with the Saints. The leader of the dome patrol was a dominant linebacker, who spent 13 years with the Saints. He is third all time in sacks with 128 and third all time with 28 fumble recoveries. Elected with him were San Francisco wide receiver Jerry Rice, Dallas Cowboys running back Emmitt Smith, Minnesota VIkings defensive tackle John Randle and Washington Redskins guard Russ Grimm. Two Players were also selected by the Veterans Committee, they were Dick LeBeau and Floyd Little.
Congrats Rickey from all the CSC members. Read more here.
