Super Bowl XLIV: The View from Section 253 in Pictures
Here are your pictures from all of yesterday's action. It's late and I'm exhausted, mentally and physically. I will try and get a write up to you guys soon but until then, these wonderful pictures ought to hold you over. I've got to admit I have more pictures that I took in the locker room but I don't think I was allowed to take those so out of respect, they will stay with me.

Congratulations New Orleans
The most well deserved Super Bowl victory I can remember. I said all week your Defense would come up big on at least one play against Manning and you did. Great game, enjoy your celebration.
Nobody is Dat apparently. You guys are the Super Bowl Champions.
Savor that, it’s a great feeling.
Saintsational, do you work for the Saints or something? I could understand you buying a ticket to Miami for this website, or just because you love them, but how in Gods name did you end up in the locker room for a frigging Super Bowl victory celebration? 0_0

Probably not, unfortunately.
SB Nation has grown a lot in the last year. They also don’t pay for the trip so you’ve got to go on your own dime. Some bloggers might not be able to afford that.

Well if I had the opportunity at a press pass when the Steelers go, I might be willing to kill a relative to make sure I had the money go. That is beyond a once in a lifetime opportunity.

Dave, I want to thank you and other for the hard work on this site.
I bet you still can’t believe you got press passes. Did you ever think your just reward for running this site would have been press passes for one of the best moments of any of our lives. I’m happy you got to be there. Maybe next year or in 2012 I can experience my first Saints Superbowl in person. I heard a great song by Tom Petty this morning on my way to work-Its Good to be King. Yes it is.

What a great story!
Every day I think more and more about whether New Orleans is the place for my husband and I. We plan on moving out of Texas when I graduate from UTD. These little stories have me leaning in that direction…

I was raised in New Orleans and once I got out of school moved to Houston.
I don’t mind Houston, but I now live in College Station, Tx. and I so much rather live in New Orleans. The food, music, and culture is bar none. If you can live with Louisiana politics then New Orleans is a great place to live. In about 10 years when my son enters high school, if I can we will move back to New Orleans, so I can send him to LSU to avoid out state fees.

Do you think politics will improve over the next couple years?
With the race coming up and the superbowl win? Maybe the citizens will demand better for their city? Or could the sb win corupt politics even more? It will be another 2.5 years before I am done and it will be interesting to see where it’s at by then. Thinking about physical therapy at Tulane.

I have been on such a high since last night. I felt from the very beginning that this team and this year would be something special. It has finally happened. I said in a previous post that if we lost this game that the beauty of this season would be quickly forgotten because no body ever remembers the Super Bowl losers. Well guess what guys; we are the hottest thing in football since sliced bread at least for a little while. But no body deserves it more than the Saints and us fans. I can’t wait to see the new segment of “America’s Game”. I love watching that and now; I get to see one about our beloved Saints. “Thank You Boys”!!!

What did you expect?
Bayless is the worst kind of human being. He doesn’t put a lot of thought into his opinions, he has a superiority complex that is totally undeserved, and he can’t admit when he was wrong. He’d rather adjust history and the facts in his own psychotic head to suit his own personal ego. He’s a douche and totally undeserving of his job. He can say what he wants, but the fact is we won the Lombardi and there’s nothing he or anyone else can say to tarnish this moment for us. SCREW HIM!!!

From a Cowboys fan....
Great win for the Saints.
They were the best team on the field Sunday night.
They outplayed, and outcoached the Colts.
I live on the gulfcoast so I get alot of Saints coverage here and one of the reoccuring things I heard from fans were that they “deserved” to win the Super Bowl, but I don’t think that’s fair to the Saints.
I think they EARNED it, and that’s even sweeter.
Congratulations and welcome to the Super Bowl club.

Amazing job Dave.
You’ve done an outstanding job at CSC – the best blog at SB Nation, in my book.
I hope you reconsider posting the locker room pics, as I feel we’re just as much apart of this team as yourself and the actual players, but I understand if you refrain from showing them.
"I definitely believe in destiny, and I believe in karma and what goes around comes around. We have been on the other side of this deal probably too many times. But as I walked into the room I was instructed NOT to take still photographs. I happened to break the rules. But posting them could piss off the organization and get us in a lot of trouble. Not something I’m looking for. Hope you understand.
