Is it just me (basking in the afterglow of a SB victory) or did the CBS post-game coverage seem piss-poor and severley lacking in substance? I have watched other superbowls and I seem to remember lots more interviews, highlights and recapping of the action. I wanted to see more interviews and CBS failed miserably. I had to switch over to the NFL network to catch more interviews and get the coverage I was desiring.
It just seemed to me that CBS was trying to rush off and get the captive audience to watch their new show which was "Coming up next..". Does anybody else feel this way? I wonder if the Colts would have won if they would have stayed on longer or had more coverage. And what was up with that extremely small stage? (Bad call NFL. Let the whole team be on the platform.) And wasn't there usually an SB MVP trophy and presentation? Not just a casual mention?
Maybe it is because CBS is an AFC homer that they shanked the post-game coverage.
Not that I am really upset or anything, I just thought (or remembered) other superbowl "after parties" to have more meat to them. I'll take the Superbowl victory just fine without it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
