Good Coaching wins Super Bowl XLIV

On the contrary to what the guys on Stampede Blue are saying I don't believe bad coaching lost this one (On behalf of Jim Caldwell) I say great coaching won this one (On behalf of our own Sean Payton).

The Colts had it going the whole 1st Quarter, amassing huge yardage while the Saints could not get on the field going down 0-10.  Then the light switch turned on and we go for it on 4th and short, a team motivator win or loose.  We loose that one but then we get a huge 3 and out and we drive down to get to 6-10 going into the half.

After the boring WHO concert the Saints came out and stunned the world on the On sides Kick, this was a HUGE win/loose situation and we pulled it out.  Drew Brees hits Pierre Thomas and the Saints take the lead.

Manning drives his team down and Addai (formerly from LSU) scores the go ahead TD.  The Saints follow up on yet another ICE COLD field goal by Hartley (Breaking a Record) to bring it to 16-17.

Drew Brees then gets the Saints down the field again and throws a TD to Shockey at the 2.  Then the BEST CATCH of the Super Bowl happened.  Brees hit Lance Moore (The star who has been dinged all year) at the goal line for the 2 point conversion.  He flipped and wiggled to stretch the ball over the goal line only to have it called incomplete.  Well if anyone knows SP he is smart enought to take advantage of the neutral field and watched the big screen he sees the play and how close it was and threw the flag.  BAM Lance Moore posseses the ball and get it over the goal line.  2 Point attempt good!!!  24-17 Saints.

We all know how it ends!!  TP jumping the Patent Pending Colts Manning to Wayne slant for a long DEFENSIVE TD!!!

I got through all this to say Sean Payton called a heck of a game after the 1st Quarter was over.  The Colts had something for us but we never let them get into a rhythum.  We stumped them at there own game!  Sean Payton has called some bad games this year but this was the best game to date in his Coaching career.  MAD PROPS SP!!!

WHO DAT?  WE DAT?  But I bet you already KNEW DAT!!!

GEAUX SAINTS!!!  BLESS DEM BOYS!!!

It's so funny how a whistle and yellow flag can shut Colts fans up.

They start talking trash and tweeeeeet / flutter they just sit back down because they don’t have a rehearsed “comeback.” (Amatures!)

Out Coached

Caldwell got out coached. We have all seen it over the years, one coach just does a better job than the other one.
I love the way Payton coaches to win. I just hope Benson realizes what he has and keeps him a long, long time, at least until I retire from watching them play.
Wait til nex year!!!!!

Imagine Peyton as a kid in Nawlins, always dreaming of throwing the winning TD in da SB for da Saints, well Sunday, he finally did it!!!!!!
