Home Team: Coaching the Saints and New Orleans Back to Life (Hardcover)
Pigs have flown! Hell has frozen over! The Saints HAVE WON the Superbowl!!
we are millking...
the s*** out of this aren’t we?
With the 32nd pick of the 2010 NFL Draft, the New Orleans Saints take... The suspense is killing me!
He wrote (or co-wrote) a movie too.
About a kid who gets sucked into his Xbox 360 and has to play the game for real.
Pigs have flown! Hell has frozen over! The Saints HAVE WON the Superbowl!!
He had me at "An underachieving football team...."
That’s always been my conundrum: Why can’t this team win? What’s different about New Orleans that someone can’t put a winning franchise together there?

Hennican is a liberal buffoon. Can’t Sean find some sports writer who won’t Bush bash Katrina to tell the story?

Amen brother. Henican is a card carring liberal who has no cred at all.

jeffduncantp Update for all Saints tweeps. I start a 2-month leave from the Times-Pic today to work on a book project about the Saints’ SB title.
Shooting for training camp/5th anniversary of Katrina. RT @CTFNOLA any idea when the book will be on shelves? Can’t wait to read it
Nice reference, Hans. One of my favorites.
Even in a perfect world where everyone was equal
I'd still own the film rights and be working on the sequel
Thanks, Stu. Mine, too. Have you caught his talk show at all? The few ones we’ve watched have been very interesting…as a music buff, you’d probably dig it big time.

I did once, not digging it, but it's probably me
I don’t know who Declan could interview that would interest me. Time is passing me by. I only like the old stuff, older than me, and they’re pretty much all retired or dead (or should be). I really hate that Abbey Road live in the studio show.
Got into a huge fight on another blog last week about the new Gram Parsons musical play, which is like the Beatlemania re-enactment shows. Some people really enjoy that type of “entertainment” but it does not appeal to me at all. And what they’re doing with Gram, to me, is disrespectful. I’m not even going to give you a link because I don’t want to promote it.

UNDERSTOOD re: Parsons
I appreciate a man who stands on principle…
We watched a couple shows, and he interviewed Elton John on one, and er, someone else on the other one. Anyway, what made it a draw for us was that it seemed a decent, deep interview (musician to musician), and not some ridiculous PR/fluff interview that’s a waste of everyone’s time.

Hans, what does "elvis costello" have to do with this post?
and, if you want, you could add “sean payton” as a tag.
Pigs have flown! Hell has frozen over! The Saints HAVE WON the Superbowl!!
I'm not complaining, just very curious.

As long as Henican keeps his politics out of it...
I’m down with the book
