Bell to Visit Flappy Birds (aka Eagles)
Restricted free agent Mike Bell will visit the Eagles on Tuesday.
Birds beat writer Jeff McLane reported last week that Bell was "unlikely" to land in Philly, so the team may only make a minimum salary-level offer during the visit. Bell would be a short-yardage specialist with the Eagles.

An update
The Eagles are expected to sign restricted free agent RB Mike Bell to an offer sheet this week.
The sides have reportedly begun contract talks, and beat writer Les Bowen believes Bell will be signed to an offer sheet if he “checks out physically, avoids getting arrested during his visit, and shows an aptitude for learning Andy Reid’s offense.” The Saints’ seventh-round tender suggests they may not be up for matching offers.
For your information Viking's and Colt's fans, no matter how much you say it, you were not the better team in 2009.
seventh-round tender?
What did I miss? When it was reported that the Saints made Bell an offer, the report said they wouldn’t get any draft picks if he signs with another team. Am I misreading this?

Mike Bell-RB – Saints Mar. 6 – 5:44 pm et In addition to his visit with the Seahawks, restricted free agent RB Mike Bell is also drawing interest from the Browns and Eagles.
The Saints’ low tender means that teams won’t have to part with a draft pick to sign Bell. If the Browns and Eagles aren’t aiming any higher at running back, it would be good news for the fantasy values of Jerome Harrison and LeSean McCoy.
Mike Bell-RB- Saints Mar. 1 – 1:21 pm et The Saints have extended a low tender to restricted free agent Mike Bell. Though Bell was originally undrafted and would require no draft pick loss to sign away, teams are unlikely to be overly intrigued after his miserable finish to last year. He won’t be guaranteed a spot on the Saints in 2010.

Offer sheet signed
ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports the Eagles have signed restricted free agent RB Mike Bell to a one-year, $1.7 million offer sheet.
"I have seen women walk right past a TV set with a football game on and - this always amazes me - not stop to watch, even if the TV is showing replays of what we call a "good hit," which is a tackle that causes at least one major internal organ to actually fly out of a player's body."
