Around SBN: Jeff Sullivan's MLB Trade Deadline Primer

My lord! It started out good with the "who dat" thing, then went off with this:
"Second, do something about the violence on the playing field. When players say before the game you are marked or we are getting to you, take it serious. These sayings could be threats and you could be arrested."

are you serious?? football is a man's sport, it always has been and always SHOULD be...boxers, fighters, basketball players, anyone who plays competitive sports is going to talk trash and possibly threaten you. We didn't go out saying "I'm going to kill peyton manning/brett favre/kurt warner" Greg Williams simply said we were going to blitz the crap out of them and give them a few "i'm here" shots.

This opinion originates in Minnesota

I think that explains it.

The sad thing is that they actually did have ONE good suggestion in that pile of idiocy. The idea of making the refs full time employees would be a MAJOR improvement… but good luck getting anybody to read the whole thing to find the tiny gem buried in all the manure.

For those who can't remember the uncapped FA rules, this link's for you.

when they said whats 20k to ’em when they making millions. Um they would lose a lot more than 20k a game if they were making millions. Whats 20k? Did i actually see that? Lmfao @ how some just throw figures around. Like I seen one the other day, oh ya the Hargrove one about just give him $5 mil a yr. For realz? For a crackhead? How can you put your fingers together to type that?
