I'm getting pretty sick of this
It’s not like I want the players to get concussions…but this is football, damn it! How long before tackling someone draws a 15-yarder?

What i want to know is this
If a WR is allowed two feet on the ground before the initial hit than the defense will be screwed.
A WR might as well just catch the ball and fall to the ground.
I thought it was two-feet on the ground before you could hit them in the head. The whole thing of a defenseless receiver is that they protect against blows to the head, not against blows to any spot on the body. I’m sure they are just saying any contact to the head will be illegal until he’s had every possible opportunity to protect himself.
For those who can't remember the uncapped FA rules, this link's for you.
I hope so
That would be in the ballpark of the concussion discussion, however, i can see some of the liberals taking an extreme interpertation with this rule.
There should only be a 15 yard penalty if the receivers helmet comes off and his head is still in the helmet.

Just wrap them all up in marshmellows with a bow on top and be done with it.
If this is passed then the entertainment value is decreased…LOWER TICKET PRICES, then.

I thought helmet to helmet contact was already illegal

Helmet-to-helmet contact of any sort with a QB is illegal. Leading with your helmet on a tackle (aka spearing) is illegal, regardless of whether it’s helmet-to-helmet or not. Hands to the face is illegal, regardless of position. That about covers the current rules.
