Top QB contracts: PManning, Brady,......Brees? Or Eli?

Peyton Manning-QB- Colts Mar. 22 - 11:01 am et
Colts owner Jim Irsay said he expects team president Bill Polian to sit down with Peyton Manning's agent in May or June to talk about a contract extension. Just like Tom Brady, Peyton's current deal is up after the 2010 season. Irsay is already on the record saying that his quarterback will be the highest paid player in the NFL and Manning is rumored to be seeking a $20 million per year deal.
Tom Brady-QB- Patriots Mar. 22 - 10:17 am et
Patriots owner Bob Kraft confirmed that Tom Brady isn't going anywhere after the franchise quarterback's contract is up following this season. Brady signed a six-year, $60 million deal in 2005. It's a complicated situation for both sides now thanks to the uncertainties of the CBA, but we know Brady deserves more than the six-year, $97.5 million extension Eli Manning got last August. The two sides will eventually hammer out a deal.
Peyton $20M Eli $16.25M Brady $19M? Or more? Brees has a 6 yr/$60M contract through 2011. Does Mickey not have all the money in the world for Sharper because he's holding on to it so he can pay Drew Brees? Is Brees worth more than Eli? (Yes, of course he is, but will he get paid? If so, there goes Rita's dowry.)

<<< do not beleive it will take 20mil a year to keep drew.
He does however deserve to be in the top 3 pay grades for that position.
This does not reflect how much his talent is worth, but rather his willingness to play with NO.
I do not perceive Drew looking for a contract that would rival payton manning, for the simple reason that he does not strike me with the money monster personality.

Ever stare down a two way street and convince yourself it’s one way? To the point that you’re comfortable changing lanes at intersections, I mean.

well
If we were to rate his talent and his worth to the saints organization, i would have to say that he is worth more than 20mil a year. His talent does justify this amount of money. I was simply stating that i do not think it will take 20+mil to keep him in a saints uniform for the next 6 years.
ill bet db's contract
is north of 100 mil. that should justify the move from lowly audubon street to audubon place.
