Fujiii!!!!!!

"I can eat oreos faster than you, Peyton."

"Hey, I don't think he liked that joke. Did ya like it Peyton? I don't think he liked it."

"Hi. My name's Scott. I'm Japanese."

Star-divide

From the first signing of the Sean Payton regime on the 3-13 Saints team to a symbol and icon throughout the city, Scott Fujita will be a very difficult personality to replace. The guy always played his heart out, if not always lights out. He provided us with many memories, and asides from Drew Brees, Fuji is probably New Orleans's biggest donor, having donated half his playoff salaries to help rebuild, just days before signing with his new team. He was one for the city, all the way through till his last day with the team. How many people do you know that could look at Peyton Manning in the face in the Super Bowl, especially when Manning was driving straight down the field like a machine, and tell him off? And then to follow through with that statement? Guys like Fujita are hard to come by nowadays. I wish Fuji the best of luck with the Cleveland Browns and a successful and happy end to his career, wherever it may end. Now I look for a different chant on gameday than "Fujiiii!!!!!" Scott will always be in the hearts of New Orleanians. Please join me in wishing him the best.

His daughters can’t be that old yet, right? He’s probably got a few years to worry about that still.

Not that NOLA schools are much better, but...

It possible that he could keep a home in NOLA, and live there in the offseason. Many other players live in different cities than their team.

I certainly appreciate all that he’s done in a SAINTS uniform and wish him the best as he continues his career Except when playing against the SAINTS!

I thought the team came first

Now I hope you’re not one of those guys that hates on receivers that celebrate too much – because they’re drawing attention to themselves ahead of the team. If we as fans are going to put a player ahead of the team, then what are players supposed to do?

All the best to you Scott.

There’ll always be room for you in New Orleans should you need a place to retire in 4-5 years.

that’s because the secret ingredient is raw sewage.

Poor Scott… I hope the $$$ is enough to make up for the sewage in your gumbo.

I know it`s probably been said,but

3-13 to 13-3 World champions in 4 years that still blows my mind.
Scotts arrival , obviously combined with other heralded names, helped
turn this team into who they are now.
Good luck in Cleveland and thankyou for all your efforts as a Saint.

Lets GEAUX SAINTS.......... ALL THE WAY!!!!

That 3-13 record is an anomaly. Any team faced with those same circumstances would have been hard pressed to perform better. Remove it and the Saints have managed to field a competitive nucleus ever since the beginning of the Haslett era. For all that’s been made of their ups and downs, they’ve truly been one of the more consistent teams in professional sports over the last decade. Consistently mediocre, mind you … but consistent, nonetheless.

The Lions have been pretty consistent themselves. Heh.
