Group hugs are gayer than rainbow-flavored quiche.

Well that all depends on perspective
Case in point.
Seemingly a little rainbow influenced:

But sign me up for this one:

For your information Viking's and Colt's fans, no matter how much you say it, you were not the better team in 2009.
Where are their butts?

I'm guessing they got no butts b/c they're 12 to 14 years old.

Now THAT’S a group hug I can get behind! (yes, pun intended.)
Pigs have flown! Hell has frozen over! The Saints HAVE WON the Superbowl!!
Ha! Rec'd.
"They're ready to be like 'Same Old Saints'" - Roman Harper, on each of the New Orleans Saints vanquished foes of 2009
Lets hug it out

What? No celebrating, you guys lost a key guy and may lose another! Lolcat even thinks so (*not serious)

We all love the Warriors..
We all hate Cohan as an owner of this franchise…
All these kitty pics...
are making me lose my overly-masculine, testosterone-pumped, “Kill ’Em All!” football enthusiasm. I like cats, but this is a gridiron blog, for crying out loud! Need medicine:

Anyone know who this is getting jacked up? It’s the best online “monster hit pic” I could find. Wish it wasn’t a Saint getting nailed, though. I think that’s Dante Stallworth.
"As soon as Tony (Dungy) said we had no chance, I knew we had 'em right where we wanted 'em"--Coach Sean Payton right after Super Bowl XLIV with the Lombardi Trophy firmly in hand. WHO DAT!!

It Almost Looks
Like Stallworth was runover by a car. I know, cheapshot at Stallworth will probably get me flagged harder than Stallworth’s license, but I just couldn’t resisit.

Is the Hamlin/Stallworth hit the defination of a forced-fumble?
Doesn`t look like he was going to hold on there.

Alex Chilton died. Just needed to get that off my chest within the friendly confines of a hug thread.

Wow
1. I never knew he was 16 when he sang “The Letter”
2. I never knew he was living in New Orleans
3. I love a song he did called, “What’s your sign, girl?”

I didn’t know he lived in New Orleans, either. He stayed through Katrina. Dave Pirner (formerly of Soul Asylum) lives here now, too. Ran into him at the Mushroom one night.

I work with a bunch of music heads, and am one myself...
…we were listening to Box Tops and Big Star all day yesterday in the shop.
Very sad, indeed. Truly a great loss for music.

Probably so. Most Tulane students aren’t old enough to remember Soul Asylum. Thanks for making me feel ancient, Dave.

Someone to shove - ETERNAL GREATNESS
grandfather watches the grandfather clock
the phone hasn’t rang for so long
time flies by like a vulture in the sky
suddenly he breaks into song
and I’m waiting by the phone
waiting for someone to call me up and tell me I’m not alone
(all done from memory – no google of the lyrics)
that was one of the first 50 CDs I ever owned, and I played it often for nearly a year and a half through my junior and senior years of college – what an album

that's just carbon monoxide laced with fiberglass fibers and a touch of lead from the paint on the walls
nothing to concern yourself about
