Jamal Williams
Jason La Confora just posted on his twitter that the Saints will be hosting NT Jamal Williams later on this week, formerly of the San Diego Chargers. The guy is 33 now, I know he's old but he's a veteran and can definitely help develop Sedrick Ellis. Before his injury last season, Williams was a franchise type nose tackle and one of the better guys on the Chargers defense, I would really this pick up.
saints hosting Jamaal Williams and Leonard Little for visits this week. More on NFL.com

May not get a crack at Williams
As per Rotoworld:
NFL Network’s Mike Lombardi reports that free agent NT Jamal Williams is already in Denver on Monday to take a physical.
Williams has a meeting with the Saints lined up for later in the week, but the Broncos may not let him make it that far. The 34-year-old is close to Denver line coach Wayne Nunnelly from their time together in San Diego.
But we are also looking at James Hall from St. Louis apparently
For your information Viking's and Colt's fans, no matter how much you say it, you were not the better team in 2009.
James Hall AND Leonard Little???
I’d rather Williams.
Pigs have flown! Hell has frozen over! The Saints HAVE WON the Superbowl!!
Damn, that sucks, I think he'd fit in nicely with us..
Why wouldn’t he want to join the Super Bowl champs?
May be a good sign that Anthony Hargrove could move back to DE
"I want to hand this trophy to the MVP of the Super Bowl -- and the MVP of the entire league.''

I would rather see that........Than two old has beens ready for pasture
My Magnificent Black and Gold Warriors
Williams isn't really a has been
He was injured last year, and every year before that he was an absolutely dominating force. If anything he could be a situational run stuffer at worst IMO
Why not us?

I’m 64 and would play for league minimum…….and be very very happy

I am 21 with 11 years of experience
OK, so I am 32. Are the Saints looking to add depth at Waterboy?

Hit me up on the sticks! NBA2K10 is my game now.
Well, Jason La Canfora just posted on his twitter that the Saints are hosting Jamal Williams today
I guess a deal with Denver isn’t done.
Why is everyone against signing this guy? He’s a run stuffer, a big dude and would help us against the run? If none of you think he’s capable of being a starting NT, which I think he can be, he missed all of last year due to injuries, so he’ll be ready to go, before his injury he was one of the most dominating NT’s in the league, one of the better D guys on the Chargers. I’d be really happy with the signing of Jamal Williams, a veteran dude and he’d help the development of Sedrick Ellis, I don’t see where this signing could go wrong? It’s adding depth, and he’s 33, not Paul Spicer old
“He’s a very good one,” Saints quarterback Drew Brees said of his former Chargers teammate at Monday’s event. “He was a good teammate, an extremely good player. Obviously he’d be a big pickup for us if that ends up happening, but you know how this thing goes, and there will be a lot of people bidding for a guy like that.”
I guess I’m not the only one that thinks Jamal Williams would be a good pickup, him & Drew Brees were teammates for a minute man, I’m telling you guys, this guy would be perfect
Broncos signed him
We’ve missed the bus on this one, but James Hall is reportedly visiting on Friday. The former Rams DE could be a good pickup if he has anything left in the tank.

Did the Rams have a good defense last year adn I missed it?
Haven’t we brought in or thought about 2 or three of them?
