and in two weeks they'll announce that he's fully recovered from the sports hernia surgery he's having tomorrow

You know, technically he’s not on our roster right now. Which means even if this was midseason we wouldn’t be required to give out any kind of injury info on him. And in the offseason, nobody is required to divulge anything injury-wise. At all.
So really I don’t see a huge problem with nobody deciding to say anything until they had to.
For those who can't remember the uncapped FA rules, this link's for you.
i know I was just joking about it like in the season when they said Greer was almost done rehabbing his groin on one day
and then the very next day announced that he’d had sports hernia surgery the week before

Or when Pierre Thomas cut his knee open on a fence while chasing after his dog.

Can believe all of his Bull Sh#t the past couple of weeks?

I can't believe anyone else will want Sharper now
Sure, he had a great season…but what if it’s his last? No other team is going to want to be the one to pay his Super Bowl bonus for us. It’s going to come down to: re-sign with New Orleans, or retire.

I don't really view retiring as an option

Sharper
For all of his flaws, is still a pretty good FS. The only thing I didn’t care for was his inability to finalize a tackle. There were a few that got away from him after initial contact. His closing speed to the corners has diminished slightly, but that could have been associate to the knee problem that required the surgery. All in all, I hope to see him back in Black and Gold next year, and hopefully, he will draw a little more money for it. His experience at reading QB’s and the mentoring that he can provide our youthful secondary are worth it.

“The only thing I didn’t care for was his inability to finalize a tackle. "
That may have something to do with the “harper” in his last name.

why you pickin' on Rod Harper like that? lol

Hmmmm
You might be on to something. I know that Sharper was a huge Ronnie Lott fan, and at times it seems like he is trying to hit like Lott, but let’s face it, no one in today’s game hits as hard as Ronnie Lott did. I think that is where Sharper’s lack of tackling comes into play. It seems as if he wants to hit opponents hard enough to stop them dead cold. Harper tries to do the same, and with little effect. It is literally hit or miss with both of them. If you don’t wrap the player up, the lunging tackle becomes a missed tackle. Of course, I, with all of my magnificence and ability (I have seen proper tackling on TV) would definitely be able to show them proper technique and form.
