Hi I may as well get the ball rolling
1) Not sure if any team is as connected to it`s city as the Saints and the humour and
passion of the fans is incredible but I`ve got to go with Hendersons"neutral" game
calling as my stand out favourite
2) As I`ve only been to one game-in London- I guess it would be the £90 ($150?) I spent on
a ticket for the Chargers game, that was a cheap seat so I guess you can see why the
owners are happy to give up a home game to come over here. Probably doesn`t
appease you season ticket holders so I`ll leave the subject alone now.
3)In person,unless I win the lottery,none :( In spirit 16+.
4)Most embarrassing? Dunno really any loss to the bucs is pretty bad, I wasn`t around
for the raelly bad times with the bags and I hink giving the bucs their 1st ever win must
have been pretty embarrassing.
5) Gotta love the White worn Miami, but Back `n`gold for me.
Hope I don`t get any anti-recs for this but doubt it`ll receive a Boomzinga either.

Here goes
1.
favorite part of Saints culture
I’ve always loved listening to ‘The Point After’ show, especially when Buddy D was alive (gawd rest his soul). The show was especially entertaining following a loss, which was most of the time, because of the influx of ‘squirrel’ callers.
2.
he most you’ve spent to see the Saints play
I spent at least $2000 to see the Saints in 2005. We didn’t have a home game, so I figured this was a good time to make a pilgrimage to see Lambeau Field. In addition to plane tix, I splurged for 5th row seats 45yrd line visitors side for this once in a lifetime trip. Because game weekend hotel accommodations are sold out years in advance in GB, I could only find a room in the most expensive hotel in the area (which turned out to be a plus because the saints were staying there too and I got to meet a lot of players). I had to rent a car because the stadium is in the middle of nowhere. I had to buy cold weather gear (kickoff temp was below freezing). I even bought a fleur-de-lis construction helmet to wear with my jersey to be symbolic of New Orleans rebuilding. GB was 0-4 at that pint in the season, so I figured this hefty investment would be worth it in the end…to be continued…
3.
How many games will you attend next season
At least one. I have been on the season tix waiting list for ages. Back when there wasn’t a list I couldn’t afford them. I’m seriously considering buying a scalped seasons ticket package this year, but they are really, really expensive.
4.
most embarrassing Saints related moment
Flashback: Green bay 2005. We lost 52-3. Deuce blew out his knee. I blew a bunch of dough. I was dressed head to toe in Saints gear on the fifth row. As the points piled on, the initially friendly, winless Packer fans became increasingly obnoxious. In the middle of the 4th quarter I went to get another divine bratwurst and was accosted at the condiment station by a drunk packer fan. I shoved him to the ground. I was then escorted out of the stadium by security to the delight of all the surrounding packer fans. It was a long flight home.
5.
Favorite Saints uniform
The 2009 white jersey with the Superbowl 44 patch. Runner-up Black jersey, Gold Pants.

Saints Questions
1. Saints culture?…..hmmmm…well, I would say my favorite part of Saints culture is the culture itself; the history, the fans, the city. I know, sounds kinda boring, but that’s all I got.
2. I have only been to a few Saints games in my lifetime. Does that disqualify me as a fan? :( In each case, I only spent what was needed for Dome Foam and a hot dog.
3. For my 33rd birthday, my daughter got me a black & gold jersey with Nesbit and the # 33 on it. It has confused a bunch of people this year. Looks like we won’t have that problem anymore since I’m the only Nesbit in town.
ROCKWELL - well played, Dave (did you know that Michael Jackson did guest vocals on that "hit"?)
and then there’s the second “hit” off that album – Obscene Phone Caller. (“Just because you’re paranoid doesn’t mean they aren’t after you.” – Satchel Paige)
1) Saints culture – the excitement of the season and strangers hugging/talking to/connecting with strangers at the game, before the game, after the game, etc. I also greatly enjoy the “call-in” sports radio culture, too (good point, BCS). I have fond memories of listening to the “Point After” show with Hap, then Buddy for years.
2) Probably the most I spent for a Saints game was when I traveled with some Browns fans friends of mine to NO for Halloween weekend 1999 (airfare, hotel, drinks, tickets, food, wolfman Saintsfan costume, losing to the winless Browns 2.0 for their first new franchise win) for the Saints-Browns game. Couch crushed us with a Hail Mary TD at the end of the 4th Q. OUCH. Do I regret it? Heck, no.
3) Probably no games will I see in person next season, although I will watch all the games on TV via the Sunday Ticket. And hopefully all 3 playoff games (incl. Super Bowl) on network broadcast.
4) My most embarrassing moment is one that feels bad in retrospect. During the 1980 season, I had a Saints velcro nylon lunch bag that I brought to school every day, and I hated using it because they were playing so badly, and I was embarrassed to have people see my with it, but since my parents bought it for me, they made me keep using it. I know I was just a kid, but I am not proud of that moment in my life as a Saints fan – I still had a lot to learn about being a good fan. Runner-up: leading a group of Bengals fans college friends of mine to Paul Brown Stadium in December 2002 for a game between the 9-5 playoff-hopeful Saints and the woeful 1-13 Bengals. I wasn’t obnoxious or anything leading up to the game, but I NEVER thought it would end the way that it did, and I was so upset with the way the team played that day. It was a looong drive back to Louisville that evening.
5) Black jerseys w/gold pants. #2 White jerseys/gold pants. #3 White jerseys/black pants w/gold stripe. I miss the Louisiana state outline logo from the jerseys, too.

note on #1 above
the enjoyment of the call-in show for me was definitely NOT the in-depth analysis and football knowledge displayed therein (because it was not of high-quality), but the extremes of the individual callers and the quirks of the particular hosts, and stacking those up against my memory of the just-played game, which was at times clouded by emotions (either via radio [mostly] or by television, or the rare times I was actually at the games).

I do, too. Guess they thought it was taking away from the regional marketization of the franchise. Funny how that undying loyalty to the entire Gulf South has never persuaded the Mississippi and Alabama state legislatures into lifting a finger towards helping finance Superdome renovations.

1. there is no way that i can choose one part of the Saints’ culture that is my favorite. They are all unique and each has great aspects that come together to make the New Orleans Saints.
2. 500 bucks to go to the Saints-Giants game last season. I’m only a 16 year old…just wait till I’m just a litle older and get some real money. i will be going to every single saints game.
3. i plan to attend 4 of the home games next season. falcons, panthers, vikings, and steelers.
4. My most embarrassing Saints related moment was running through the neighborhood in just a pair of boxers after they won the super bowl. i got a buncha crazy looks but hey…WHO DAT!!!!! SB XLIV CHAMPS!!!!
5. my favorite Saints uniform is the black tops and gold bottoms(please tell them to get rid of the all black uniform. its terrible…)
S-fever, I think we’re all with you on the all black (Viet Cong jammies) (and again). I’m converted. Used to like them but they’re so 2006.
I'm sick and tired of hearing things from uptight, short-sighted, narrow-minded hypocritics.
1) Saints culture: I really like it when they play Second Line after a score. doot doot doot, doot do doot. If I was the opponent or the visiting fan, I’d be very annoyed by that. BOOM
2) Oh hell, thanks for reminding me. All the playoff games including Super Bowl, tickets and travel, I still haven’t added it all up, I don’t want to know. Even after selling my company stock, I had to get a new 0% credit card to carry the rest. I’ll pay it off next year. Worth it? Once in a lifetime, baby. And I mean that. I can’t afford a repeat. I’m out of stock.
3) Probably will drive to Dallas, definitely a December game in the Superdome and we’re going to the San Francisco game too. Plan to reenact the Bullitt car chase down Lombard Street with the rental car.
4) I try to block out the humiliating scenes from my life, but what comes to mind (again) is that time when I REALLY had to go and the men’s room literally had an inch of urine/stool water on the floor, and I was wearing sandals. (Actually, I’m wearing them right now.) The decision, wade or abort and find another men’s room, took about a second. I thought “Jesus1000, I hope I don’t have any cuts on my feet” and kinda walked on the out sides of my feet, bow-legged. Got a couple of looks from guys wear boots, so I just kept my head down, unloaded, and got out of there. Gross.
5) White jersey, gold pants with state of Louisiana on the hips.

1) All of it. Watching a home game on TV makes me so homesick I almost throw up. Watching them win 13 last regular season is better than Super Strength Pepto Bismol. :-)
2) Hmm…difficult to answer…watching SB XLIV, between food, beer, and shots after the win, that was probably close to $200…going to a game, haven’t been since the late 90’s, and then I was going on “corporate tix” that a friend had…back in the 80’s I would go, but maybe spent a total of no more than $150 between tix, food, parking, gas (lived in Slidell).
3) Waiting for the schedule to come out right now, I’ve promised the fiancee that we’re going to ONE Saints home game (she has never been to an NFL game and has become a Saints fan out of self-defense at this point, so she wishes to experience a game at Mecca). Hoping for a game in late November at the Dome, if so we’ll hit that one. Otherwise, my usual haunt here in Greensboro every weekend.
4) Watching them lose in the playoffs to the Foul-clowns. Lowest football moment in my life.
5) Black jersey, gold pants, but a very narrow edge over the white jersey w/gold pants and the Super Bowl XLIV emblem. The black pants, in ANY combination should be burned – not only are they ugly as sin, the team plays like complete crap in them. Dunno why, but they either lose, or look like they should lose when wearing them.

1. Walking in the mall, here in Raleigh, NC, with my saints cap on, and hearing someone yell out “WHO DAT”.
2. Probably in 2002. I took a road trip from Biloxi, to see the Redskin game in D.C. We won 24-20.
3. Probably just the Panther game in Charlotte. Only two hours away. Maybe Atlanta.
4. Being mistaken for David Duke at a Steeler game in the dome in the early 90’s.
5. It’s hard not to vote for uniforms worn in SB 44, but I still like the Gold helment, Black jerseys, and Gold pants.

1) My favorite part of the culture is the feeling that drives the behavioral expressions of it.IMO that feeling is “passion.” Are there any fans more passionate about their team than Saints fans? NO! There’s another feeling behind our expressions, and that’s a sense of ownership. From the very beginning the Saints belonged to the city and its fans. We’ve let John Mecom & Tom Benson sign checks & attend meetings, but I’ve always felt the Saints were just on loan to them. BTW, I’ll be eternally PO’d that Atlanta was awarded a franchise a year before we were. We’ve always been a city that’s supported football and are not fair-weather fans as they’ve tended to be.
2) Whatever I spent for the 1990 game against Atlanta. I’d recently returned from a 3+ year tour in Germany and not only was I feeling deprived of Saints football, I really wanted to see us beat those nasty Falcons. We lost.
3) Probably none.
4) From the 1979 season: the loss to da Raiders on a Monday night. I was watching with several friends, we had at least a 3 touchdown lead, and we were showing the whole nation what we could do. I was so proud. We choked on national TV, lost something like 42-35.
5) White jersy/gold pants.
"Dang! The Saints won the Super Bowl!" - my wife, Meso "Happy" Hu Dat.
1. My favorite part of Saints culture is heavily influenced by the fact I haven’t lived in NO for 35 years…. that is going to a sports bar in the Houston area and meeting up with a hundred or so people that all share a passion for the Saints. Most of the group doesn’t even know each other outside of Sundays at the bar, but it’s a brotherhood (with a lot of sisters too) all the same.
2. I spent about three grand to see the Saints-Cowboys game this past season, but a lot of the money was spent on other aspects of a three night weekend visit. Cost of the game itself minus airline etc., was about $600.
3. I typically get to at least one game each year.
4. Most embarrassing moment was at a Saints-Oilers game in Houston about 20 years ago. I had real good seats, but they were in the middle of the “luv ya blue” section. During the game, one of the Oiler players appeared to be injured after a particularly brutal tackle. At the precise moment that I decided to yell out at the top of my lungs, the rest of the stadium went quiet to the point that everyone within a 20 yard radius clearly heard me scream, “I hope he’s dead”. Most everyone realizes that goofy statements said in the heat of battle are not to be taken seriously, but that didn’t make it any less uncomfortable when people turned around and stared at me like I was a serial killer. I can honestly say that was the last time I ever screamed anything totally obnoxious at a football game.
5. I’ve always loved the black and gold and always hated the black on black. But I’ve got to admit I’ve got a real soft spot for the white jerseys since the Super Bowl. As long as there’s no black pants involved, I can go either way.
1. My favorite part of Saints culture just might be the Voodoo. It may speak to the desperation we all felt for so long that we had to take matters into our own hands, but I love the superstition and traditions that were born out of that.
2. Hard to say. I haven’t been in quite a while, and then it was on my parents dime. I live in Virginia Beach now, so most of my Saints watching costs come from bar tabs.
3. I have decided to make the trek to an away game this year. Its between Carolina and Baltimore. I’m leaning towards Carolina right now. I want to see their Sam Mills tribute.
4. Carney missing the kick after the River City Relay.
5.Black jerseys, gold pants. The white jerseys are good too.
"I want to hand this trophy to the MVP of the Super Bowl -- and the MVP of the entire league.''
-- Saints coach Sean Payton, handing the Vince Lombardi Trophy to Drew Brees after Super Bowl 44.
1. What is your favorite part of Saints culture?
- I love the “passion” that everyone has mentioned before, being in the military I see every type of fan from every team…Cowboys fans, Packers fans, even Browns and Raiders fans! and I don’t even mean to be a “superfan” but everyone at work know’s where my faith is…I’m the only one who where’s a jersey (saints of course) to every squadron even that we have where we can wear whatever we choose. I’m the only one who also has a Reggie Bush (st. Reginald) on my desk and a saints jersey up around the back of my chair. Everyone’s always like what’s up with that guy and his Saints…my answer to that?: Why aren’t you showing this support to your team you weirdo.
2. What’s the most you’ve spent to see the Saints play?
- I’d say back in the 2006 season against the Bucs at home (when reggie had his first NFL TD) I had to buy plane a ticket down ($300) + tickets for my mom, step dad, and brother. I think those we’re $26 each + food at the game (30 bucks) so about $430 total.
3. How many games will you attend next season?
Hopefully at least one…are they playing in Miami next year? I’m moving to Key West in June and Miami is only like 3-4 hours away
4. What’s your most embarrassing Saints related moment?
- My most embarrassing Saints moment was when we lost to the Cowboys last season (our first loss). I was so pumped because there’s alot of Dallas fans out there, especially in my squadron, and I was talkin all this trash…i came in the next day with my head down…but still had reggie and my jersey on my desk!
5. Favorite Saints uniform?
- Honestly i like the throwbacks…not many people like them but I do, I’ve got 2 of them at home. other than that I like the black jersey and gold pants. Oh also I think that the hornets and saints should exchange colors one game one season…idk why…just think it’d be cool
oh yeah

"Bow Down Before The One You Serve"
Favorite part of Saints culture… the bond we all share no matter what race, religion, or location.
I live in Dallas and wear my Saints t-shirts just about every where I go.
We I see someone else wearing a Saints shirt or jacket or Black & Gold fleur on their car, I go out of my way to wave or give a hearty “Who Dat!”
They always smile and reply in kind.
I don’t care who’s watching or who the other Saints fan is. In that moment we share a connection that the onlookers will never undersdtand.
-
Most I’ve spent to see them play…
Two years ago I had NFL Sunday ticket =~ $250.
This past year, I went to a sports bar several times, and found out it’s actually cheaper to get Sunday Ticket.
I was also in town last year for a family function and I spent $110 for a ticket to the Falcons MNF game.
Before Katrina I had season tickets, but I actually had a super deal for ’nose-bleed" seats… $150 for the whole season (ie. 10 games, counting pre-season)
-
I’ll probably only get to one game in person next season – @ Dallas… Unless it happens to be the Thanksgiving day game.
Then I’ll just cry, because I’ll be in New Orleans and the Saints will be in Dallas.
And, I’ll attend any playoff or dare I say Superbowl that we play in Dallas.
-
I’m not sure I have an embarrassing Saints related moment. If I think of one, I promise to come back and post it.

Favorite Saints uniform? Black jersey & Gold pants
Pigs have flown! Hell has frozen over! The Saints HAVE WON the Superbowl!!
1. Honestly, never having been to New Orleans or to a home Saints game I don’t feel like I know that much about Saints culture. My main source of it comes from right here at CSC. Outside of here, watching Saints games in bars and walking around south New Jersey wearing a Saints hat or t-shirt has only elicited a positive response a couple of times. Usually all I get is trash talk from Eagles and Jets fans on my wife’s college campus.
2. About $250 for the Chargers game in London, my only Saints game so far. Doesn’t seem like much reading this thread.
3. I’m already starting to mention trips to Baltimore to my wife. I’m trying to get to our game at the Ravens or at the Steelers. We’ll see…
4. Almost got in a fight with the Yankee locals in a bar after the Vikings NFCC game. Yelling at me (in Saints attire) about hitting Favre and being undeserving winners. Trying to trash-talk an English soccer fan isn’t a good idea.
5. Black and gold.
my memories involve a different balck and gold
1. Favorite part of the Steelers Culture – Six Trophies isn’t bad, but I’m going with the Pittsburgh Original Myron Cope and his towel
2. How much did my dad spend so I could see the Steelers play the Houston Texans to open the 2008 season – I don’t know you would have to ask him
3. How many Steelers games to I plan on going to next year – I don’t know that either its to hard to get tickets for Steelers game
4. Most embarrasing Steelers moment – outside of this year, I con’t think of one
5. Favorite Steelers jeresey – I’m going with the Third Jerseys we have that are based off our jersey from 1963

I'm sick and tired of hearing things from uptight, short-sighted, narrow-minded hypocritics.
Here You Go
1) Everything – from the bag heads to the Superbowl Champs, The friendlyness of fans, the winning, the losing, It has shaped the Saints and their fans into who we all are today.
2) I would have to say about $3500 – this past year I took my Fiancee to the Dallas Game. She is a huge fan of the Cowboys, And I am a huge fan of the Saints. By the time you fingure in the tickets, 3 night hotel stay, driving from Montgomery, Texas to Anacoco, Louisiana and then to New Orleans, and of course the round trip back, it go a little pricey.
3) Due to a request by my Fiancee, I will have to save all of my “Football Money” that I set aside for tickets and take her to the Superbowl. It is kind of like Texas Holdem and going All In before the deal. So, I will only be able to go to one Saints game this year – The Superbowl.
4) At the previously mentioned Dallas/Saints game that cost a bundle, I got a little, just a tad, barely noticeably upset. To tell you the truth, after the bad PI call, and the lack of a PI call against the Cowboys, I was pretty mad. I did not act like a good fan as there were several words mentioning the ineptitude of the field judges and referee. There may have even been a gesture or two of unsprotsmanlike proportions towards the striped moles on the field. I kind of ruined what should have been a great night for both of our teams, our own personal Superbowl for my fiancee and I. By the second half, I was ok, and I was more in support your team mode, but the first half had me down, especially after Henderson dropped the TD pass in the endzone.
5) White jersey, gold pants

I really like those
They’re different and we won that game. It’s nice to wear the throwbacks that we hardly ever won in, and WIN.
Peyton, I can eat Oreos faster than you!!!!
Since you asked...
1. Favorite part of the Saints Culture? We like most everything! Even had a couple of antique wing-back chairs from my wife’s grandmother recently recovered in black & gold fabrics! If I picked one thing I’d have to say listening to the WWL radio broadcasts with Jim Henderson and Archie calling the game.
2. Most I’ve spent was this past season, but still not as much as many on here (cause I’m a cheapskate!) I think we spent about $350 on going to the Redskins game.
3. This coming season, I plan to attend at least two games and will certainly top the most previously spent. We are trying to make plans to attend at least one home game, which will entail plane tickets and a hotel. We’ll also try to attend the Baltimore, as it’s convenient to us in Maryland.
4. Most embarrassing Saints-related moment? Gosh, choices, choices… they range from my brother and father joining in on the “Aints” bandwagon with the bagheads in the 1980s, to a confrontation after the Redskins game last year that we arguably should have lost.
5. I’m partial to the black jerseys and gold pants, but also like the white jerseys and gold pants. Like most, don’t care for the black pants!!
"The Saints made the right decision signing Drew Brees-not just in terms of his arm, but because of his heart and mind." - Marshall Faulk
1. What is your favorite part of Saints culture?
Definitely the camaraderie amongst fans. After a road game victory, in particular. That’s when it becomes more than just drunk people joyously chanting “Who Dat?!” It’s drunk diehards joyously chanting “Who Dat?!” at you, because they recognize you as one of them.
2. What’s the most you’ve spent to see the Saints play?
$2,176.50 for the SB ticket alone. Tack on roughly another $1K for the gas, lodging, food, parking, souvenirs and entertainment.
3. How many games will you attend next season?
Probably 12. I’ve already paid for all 10 home games (including preseason) and will be attending all of them, barring relocation prior to then. I’ll be at the preseason opener in Foxborough, which means I will have attended six consecutive Saints games, regardless of location. Pretty sure that’ll be a new personal record for me. I also hope to make either the Dallas or Cincinnati game. Possibly both, depending on when they’re scheduled.
4. What’s your most embarrassing Saints related moment?
Definitely losing to the “Suckaneers” in 1977. I remember wearing my pleather-armed Saints jacket inside out to school the next day, just to avoid getting ridiculed on the playground. Older kids were unmerciful back then.
5. Favorite Saints uniform?
White jerseys w/ gold pants. And by gold, I mean Bum Phillips era sparkly gold, not that weak a** khaki hue they try to pass off as gold today.

chanting "Who Dat?!" at you, because they recognize you as one of them.
That’s right.
Tack on roughly another $1K for the gas, lodging, food, parking, souvenirs and entertainment.
But the jai alai was free.
I remember wearing my pleather-armed Saints jacket inside out to school the next day
‘Hey Pizza!! Why’re ya wearing the jacket inside out? Oh YEAH, the SAINT SUCK!!! [punch] HA HA HA HA HA HA!!!
I'm sick and tired of hearing things from uptight, short-sighted, narrow-minded hypocritics.
“Hey Pizza!! Why’re ya wearing the jacket inside out? Oh YEAH, the SAINT SUCK!!! [punch] HA HA HA HA HA HA!!!”
That’s about how it went down. Only they didn’t call me Pizza. And [punch] = [stung in the back with my own bookstrap].

1.What is your favorite part of Saints culture?
I will say the comraderie amongst fans. After all the abuse the team took in the past only the diehards can really appreciate the abuse we took and as a result you bond pretty quick with anyone sporting the black and gold.
2.What’s the most you’ve spent to see the Saints play? In person or otherwise.
Oh boy. About $40,000 i would say. If you guys remember the post i did way back when about the trip i took to KC to see the Saints play, on the way back home by SUV decided to die in Ames Iowa. I’d say trip costs and tickets maybe about $1,500 all total. Then tack on the cost of buying the new car when i got back to Winnipeg.
3.How many games will you attend next season?
Well they don’t come up anywhere close to me. So possibly none unfortunately. Especially with the new baby on the way.
4.What’s your most embarrassing Saints related moment?
My complete melt down during this years NFC Championship. Was having a little rant in my living room towards the end of the game as Favre was leading them down the field. Then the pick came and i started jumping around like a mad man. Then my wife told me that i had a few people out on the street watching my antics.
5.Favorite Saints uniform?
Whatever they wear when they win. I like any combination. I don’t even mind the all black (very ninja like).
"I have seen women walk right past a TV set with a football game on and - this always amazes me - not stop to watch, even if the TV is showing replays of what we call a "good hit," which is a tackle that causes at least one major internal organ to actually fly out of a player's body."
Thanks
Just found out yesterday that we are going to have a baby girl. I now have my million dollar family.

1. definatly the fan base and being a part of it
2. my brother and i have season tickets on the 43 yard line, plaza level, behind the saints bench. add in parking, an hour and a half drive, bloody marys and hot dogs….gets pretty damn expensive!!
3. hopefully all, although we did give away the last home game to my brothers father in law last year
4. in 06 wearing an outrageous outfit, that included pants that wouldnt stay on, to the baltimore game and we got trounced. we were also sitting in a pack of very annoying ravens fans
5. black on black baby!!
are you a bad fish too?
Woo!
1. The fact that the Saints came back after the storm and uplifted so many spirits in the area.
2. $128 for two tickets in the Budweiser End Zone.
3. Probably 1-2 depending on if I can find paying work.
4. I was at a friend’s (Cowboys fan) house watching that miracle play against J’ville where Jerome Pathon scored after all those laterals, went crazy celebrating, running outside and everything. I come inside a minute later to realize that Carney missed the extra point, and collapsed into humility.
5. And I too support the ninja black on black, and would love to see the black helmets return with that!
Snap, place, kick! And it's good! It's good! It's goo-hoo-hood! Pigs have flown! Hell Has frozen over! The Saints are going to the Superbowl!

Excellent Topic!
1. The rebirth of the 2006 city and team! The end of the “Aint’s”. 2006! What a year! Brees! Bush! Payton! What more could we ask for. And of course the 2009 season! What a magical year! Let’s do the same in 2010! And let’s creme the Viqueens!
2. about $300
3.Don’t know…I have a fan club I hang out with at homes or at the pub chanting “WHO DAT”!
4. Ugghh! I sure want to forget the bad memories from the past but a few comes to mind. The Tampa Bay loss in the dome last season really STUNG!!! I was so depressed! The day after I was getting a crown done at the dentist and I told him, just put me under for a while so i won’t feel the pain. The loss hurt more than the tooth.
I don’t know what happened that game, we just fell flat in the 2nd half. It reminded me of a Jim mora/ Bum phillips type of game. It was the worst game since 2005. What pissed me off was, the media laughed at us, said we were done etc. We proved them wrong for sure!
Another one comes to mind…back in 2007 we were 4-4 and lost 37 to 29 against the 0-8 Rams. I always have a fear of playing against bad teams.
The depressing ending to the 2002 season where we were 9-4 and all we needed was 1 win to get into the playoffs and lost the last 3 to bad teams. That was when I became a Jim Haslett Hater.
5. Black and Gold Baby!!!! Get rid of the black pants!
As for me....
1. Listening to Jim Henderson. Used to always have to listen to him because the games were blacked out, but I still love to hear his calls. Also, listening to the point after on my way home from a game I attended. One more thing, when I’m on my way to a game, when I see the Superdome for the first time, it still gives me chills….since I was a kid.
2. This year, we went to the St. Louis game. Not sure how much I spent total, but we had a really nice downtown hotel room, great seats…about the 12th row. Close game, but we came out victorious. We drove so we didn’t need plane tickets.
3. Hopefully the season opener. Really want to make that one. Would like to go to the Dallas game at their new stadium while we try to take revenge for the loss this year. Hopefully 2-3 games. Would REALLY like season tickets though.
4.Not really sure. I’ve yelled at the TV more than a few times.
5. I might be alone on this, but I really like the black jersey with the black pants. It seems like its a bit of jinx of late though. I also like the throwbacks that they wore a few years ago, but again I seem to be in the minority on that.
Peyton, I can eat Oreos faster than you!!!!
my 2 cents
1. Just talking to a fellow true fan, which is way to rare these days especially in Big Sky Country. As Saints fans we always learned to just enjoy the journey and not over complicate things. Hope that doesn’t change with the big win.
2. Spent about $1200.00 back in the early 90s when i was back in town to watch the Cowpokes play us Saints. Was kind of disturbing as it was during the boys’ super bowl runs so there were as many Dallas fans as Saints fans there.
3. Unfortunately none in person. Happens when you live 2000 miles away.
4. Heh…what there’s been so many s, but stayed true through them all. Giving the new expansion Browns (the 2nd time around) their first win in their first season on a last second hail mary hurt. Getting rid of George Rogers still haunts me. I used to count all the hall of famers that were ex-Saints but didn’t go into the hall as a Saint. I lost count.
5. Black Jersey, Gold pants with the Black side stripe.
1. passion in general, anyone in miami will testify to the absolute domination by saints fans of miami. most other fans are just lame.
2. 2g’s for SB 44 tickets (bought them too early)
3. all home games, at least one away game (waiting for the schedule to come out), and every playoff game (either home or away)
4. there are several… watching 2002 saints lose to one win cinci while watching the game at espn zone in disneyworld, and having the entire restuarant laugh at me after we lost.
5. anything that doesnt invovle black pants
I like hamburgers!!

1. back when we were sorry, and got a primetime slot, the whole fam would gather at one house to watch the game.
2. only had tickets to 3 saints games (1) sunday night against the jets(kyle turley incident), (2) 2001 vs the falcons, and (3) season finale against carolina last season, didnt pay for them myself. Used to work concession back when they were awful and after halftime, we would take off our green shirts they gave us and sit in the stands and watch the second half.
3. I want to get to at least 2 every year, but never do, most likely zero
4. saints at jacksonville, river city relay: i was jumping screaming and yelling, my dad hates the saints, still calls them the aints, and he laughed at me for the rest of the day after carney missed that field goal. and also whenever we lost to the falcons cause i went to school with alot of people from atl.
5. the throwbacks we wore when we beat the bucs on sunday night the year they won the superbowl.
