Note: Please take all this in good humor. This is not meant to offend any of our less creative members. :)

With the re-signing of David Thomas, the CSC community is at a crossroads. We are faced with a dilemma that must be confronted with the expedience and fortitude befitting a World Championship Fanbase. The dilemma? What are we going to call David Thomas?

Many members have taken to calling Thomas "Wendy's". I think this nickname is simplistic and uncreative. Not to mention the fact that less-informed fans, or fans of opposing teams upon hearing this might think we're offering to take them out for a bite after the game, which we definitely aren't offering given the abundance of real food to be found at the numerous tail-gate parties around the dome. We can and must do better. I, in the past have referred to Thomas as "The Drive-Thru". This nickname feels good on the tongue, much like a french fry dipped in a chocolate frosty. Some members have referred to Thomas as "The Double Stacker", a reference to Wendy's delicious sandwich.

But these surely aren't the only nicknames we can think of for Thomas. I hope I am not exceeding my boundries by suggesting that we use this space as an unofficial forum to settle the matter once and for all. My proposal is that candidate nicknames for Thomas be written in the subject line of comments below, and the one with the most recs wins.

This of course isn't to imply that you can't call the man whatever you darn well please, but It'd be nice to have a little congruity over Thomas' nickname.

P.S. Dave, if your bredth of Saints contacts is such that you might be able to ask Mr. Thomas himself which nickname he prefers, we would all gladly yield to that.
