I really didn't have this draft in mind when I made my mock picks. I went heavy at lb and the Saints didn't draft any. I did have Graham at te and I did say Woods yesterday, but other than that I was shocked by the picks. This is the way I see their thinking. They love their young guys coming off IR at linebacker. I also think they may be taking one of their many de and standing him up. I also think they are looking at some key free agents. Seeing that we took two offensive linemen I don't think the Saints are happy with their interior depth. Faneca is going to available and has a couple good years left. He is one hell of a run blocker. Overt all, I was disappointed with the draft, not so much with who they pick, but with their strategy. I thought they should have traded down from 32 to somewhere in the 40's and pick up a late 4 or early 5. I think Robinson would still have been there or they could have Kindle or a dt, then taken a cb at 64. There was a run of dbs at the beginning of the third round. I loved their move to get Woods, but if they were going to replace Brown after this year, then they should have traded him. I would have traded him for a 4th rounder and a conditional pick or two next year based on performance. Overall I give this draft a B. How about you?
