“I know its pretty stacked, but I also know a lot of corners got hurt this past season and they gave free agents opportunities.”

Good point. Get yourself noticed, have a good camp and pre-season; and even if you do get cut, there’s a chance someone—even the Saints—may be calling you later in the season.

Good luck, Rafael. I still say a Priest is a natural fit on a team called Saints.

Wouldn’t he have to play for the Cardinals first?

Carol Burnett references

where are Tim and Harvey and Lyle?

We've got 27 ways to add up to 11 (players on the field). I came up with another one last night. -- GW

Tim’s a ham, Harvey was pretty good in Blazing Saddles, and Lyle is hugely overrated.

yes, yes, and yes

but I loved watching that show when I was 10-14 years old

Uh, Mrs. Whiggins, will you tell Vicky to get Mickey his coffee, please…

Everyone's got their dark horse...

this kid’s mine. Other than the foot injury, he’s been consistent and available. He can at the very least beat out Torrence…

Before you ask, I have nothing against Torrence. I just think he can be upgraded.

BTW...

in a totally unrelated point…

I also like the DT kid from Stanford, Ekom Udofia. I know both these guys are tryouts, but they are my dark horses. At least I didn’t go with CLint Greshem like Bobby Hebert. Of all the UDFA’s that could make the team, he seems the most probable.

I would think he might beat out Al Woods

saw Woods in action (or in inaction?) this past year and he sure never lived up to his potential

I'm just glad I won't confuse DC with Saintsnational anymore

that was so embarrassing when I kept doing that…

I kinda he hope he makes the roster

and then when he screws up his assignment late in the game we’re winning 45-7, we can all shout

“Judas Priest!!! Where was your head on that play???”
