"To be honest with you, I really didn't follow it," said Smith, who tested positive for a banned diuretic found in the over-the-counter weight-loss supplement StarCaps before the 2008 season. "All I expect to do is go work out and do what I've been doing every offseason, and whatever happens happens. You try not to let little things drag you down. I just try to stay focused and just try to help out my team."
