Since it is the off season and things are undeniably slow i figured i would take a point that was raised by Sarah in the latest "getting to know you" installment. Namely just random posts that shed a bit more insight about any and all who frequent the site (be it Saints fans or closet Saints fans).
If you are like myself, you are not even remotely close to NO and therefore must make road trips to other cities to see NFL games. Just throwing out a post for those of you who feel inclined to share any memorable or favorite events from heading to a different teams venue to catch a game.
Personally i have two:
The first being the trip i took to KC to see them play the Saints two seasons ago. I posted the pics and details of the trip on CSC way back when. Was my first opportunity to see the Saint's live. They did not disappoint. Got to see Deuce make a tremendous leaping TD. Met Glenn Dorsey of the Chiefs. And lets just say Arrowhead is fantastic for tailgating and even though i was sporting Black and Gold had tonnes of offers for food and beer and some pre-game fun.
The second was traveling to Minneapolis to see the 49ers versus the Vikings last year. The last second Greg Lewis TD that sealed the deal for the Vikings. That place went ballistic. Even though i went there with a buddy who is a rabid 49ers fan, the fans showed us all a good time (except for the crazy chick who was trying to get somebody to kick my butt or failing that take out my knee since i was wearing a Patrick Willis jersey).
