I'm thinking of getting tickets to the January 2 game against Tampa in New Orleans. What I wanted to know, mainly from people that have come from out of town and stayed in hotels, what the cheapest/best value hotel you have stayed at in New Orleans, keeping in mind that it would need to be relatively close to the Superdome.

Also, any suggestions on where to go for meals, sightseeing, partying etc..., that would be awesome

Update: Narrowed my choices down to the Sheraton, America's Best Value Inn, the Clarion, O Keefe and La Quinta. Reviews/Choices?
