Per a Jeff Duncan tweet and Rotoworld-

Saints claimed RB P.J. Hill off waivers from the Redskins.
Hill signed with the Saints out of Wisconsin last offseason, but he was plucked off the practice squad by the Eagles in October. Keep an eye on Hill's progress this summer, as he has the potential to vulture short-yardage duties if he makes the team.

maybe he hasn’t done much, but I like this move, and dang it, I don’t need a reason, I’m a fan!

Pretty sure it was your fearless “Let’s go get our boy back!!!” battle cry that pushed this one to fruition. Do you think you could start a “Let’s go win another Super Bowl!!!” thread? Three exclamation marks, please. And no mention of this request. Wouldn’t want to jinx it.

Welcome home, PJ

He has a year more experience in the league than the other free agent RBs we just brought in. He may not have seen much game action, but spending time with three different teams last year and having to learn their systems may be good study for him. Best of luck to him.

And we find a capable replacement for Bell!

Heyyyy!

This draft screams Dynasty. If that's the case, then I say, let the Saints Reign begin!

you guys act like your team won the Super Bowl or something

At least it appears that PJ Hill did not eat as many pizzas as I did over the last 8 months. I will concede that. This is going on my grudge list, btw.

who else is on this list, Stu?

We've got 27 ways to add up to 11 (players on the field). I came up with another one last night. -- GW

as of today
Jammal Brown not worth much in a trade- Satch, Dan
Sharper at safety, Jenkins in nickel, usama on special teams- Satch
PJ Hill make the team: Hamilton or Bell? – Satch, LocoSaint

It appears that my marriage with Satch is in trouble.

Me? I didn’t say anything about Jammal.

does anyone but me seem a little cautious about him comming to the team.

Do not get me wrong I am happy he is back, but he was released by the Skins.
I guess it is better than starting from stratch with our undrafted rookies.

And the skins

have to get rid of as many youngster backs as they can. They don’t collect medicare from them like they do from their AARP stable.

nah man

he didn’t pass the mediocrity test. obviously his career hasn’t hit the wall yet, so he has no chance with the skins

he was a beast his first year at Wisconsin… never regained that form and has been average at best. weird.

He forgot the pizza consumption part but I’m ok with the rest of it.
