Don’t know what it actually said, but I know that the Saints weren’t one of the teams, because Mike “I’m A Douchebag Idiot” wrote the article, so we KNOW that the Vikings will not only be at the top of his list, his writing on the whys and wherefores is illegible because he can’t get Brent FAR-VUH penis out of his mouth.
Who Dat? TWO DAT! Do dat AGAIN!!!
He’s very keen.

I knew the Chargers and Vikings would be on the list. Ravens and Packers are obvious.
If Sean Payton doesn’t get things back on track, the Saints will not be there.
Can't think what I've just said
Put the soft pillow on my head
After that horrible performance in THE SUPERBOWL last year, Sean Payton’s got his work cut out for him too!
I hope he can pull another miracle out is a**, and maybe we’ll make it in as a wild card this year.

Do you smell that?

Florio is an idiot. Too big an idiot for a mere grudge list.

He might be an idiot.
But he’s probably also 100% correct. We all know the Vikings, Cowboys and GB are great teams that will undoubtedly make the playoffs. Indy has been a staple for a decade, so leaving them out until Manning retires, or they fail, it futile. Ravens have an excellent, if not aging defensively, team. And the chargers flat out have nobody in their division so they’ll be in by default.
Just because he didn’t say the Saints isn’t a reason to bitch. Last i looked there were 12 spots available after all.
Whooooa there
I certainly don’t know that the Vikes, Cowboys, and Pack are great teams. In fact, I don’t even know if the Cowboys are a respectable team. In further fact, I think the Boys will suck. Wade Phillips and Tony Romo are gonna have to prove to me that they can lead a team deep into the playoffs. Sure, they finally got over the hump last year and won a playoff game for the first time since the 90’s, but I don’t see how that proves they’ll keep it going next year. The media always hypes them up because they are “America’s Team.” How often in the past decade have they lived up to that expectation? The answer is one, and just barely.
The Saints can’t be considered a great team yet either. They were a great team four months ago and could very much keep it going this season, but they’ll have to prove it on the field like the other 31 teams.
I think the point of this fanshot is to further our hatred of Mike Florio. The guy is a clueless d-bag that obviously has some sort of personal problem with the Saints. I mean, have you read his articles? Never anything nice to say about the black and gold.

Think you share something in common with Florio then…his feelings about the Saints….yours about the Cowboys. I hate that team with the fire of a thousand suns….but saying they’re going to suck, is ridiculous. They are one of the most complete teams in football, period. If it wasn’t for a weakness at safety and LT, i’d probably say they’re the most complete team.
People need to look at the truth of teams and their buildups and stop looking at them through either rose colored glasses or just hatred. If the Vikes, Cowboys or Pack don’t make the playoffs this year, it means one thing. They had a catastrophic injury at a key position like QB. All three of those teams have a top 10 defense paired with a top 10 offense. That equals playoffs.
I disagree about their completeness
The only thing I hate about the Cowboys is how the media always hypes them up when they haven’t yet proved anything. How about we just wait and see how the season unfolds? If they prove me wrong, I’ll apologize for my comments about them. I guess I’ve never seen any reason to believe Romo is a top QB or Phillips is a great coach. By that reason alone, I doubt their completeness. Maybe they’ll prove me wrong this year. Anything’s possible. My guess is that they’ll spend this offseason thinking they’ve “arrived” and not prepare well enough to compete like they think they will. All I’ve heard about Romo lately is how he’s working on becoming a pro golfer. That guy is easily distracted. He proved that during the Jessica Simpson and T.O. years.
I’m guessing that the Redskins will surprise many and win the NFC East this year. Both Shanahan and McNabb have huge chips on their shoulders and will have a lot they’ll want to prove to rest of the league. The Cowboys won’t have an answer.

I was with you up to here:
And the chargers flat out have nobody in their division so they’ll be in by default. The Chargers won’t win the AFC West in 2010. Put it on your grudge list.
.
Never mind. I’ve got it on mine.
It's something I think's worthwhile
If the puppet makes you smile
really?
the cowboys? i don’t hate them and i can look at other teams without bias if they’re not playing the saints. A complete team though? The cowboys are in a division with the Giants, the Eagles, and possibly a rising Redskins team. The Redskins are a long shot but will have the chance to mess up the division. The Giants and the Eagles are still competitors even with McNabb and Westbrook leaving. To say they don’t have a chance at winning their division is ridiculous. I think the Vikings are in IF Farvre returns and it seems like he most likely will. GB probably will but as a Wild Card team at best since they are in the same division as the Vikes. To put those 3 on the list, including the GB team that lost a shootout to Arizona who went on to get drummed by the Saints and a Vikings team that lost to us-neither team played great though, ahead of the Saints, the SB defending champs who haven’t lost anyone except for Fujita on D and Bell on O, seems absurd. And the Cowboys?! Missed the playoffs the year before last and like satch said, won it’s first playoff game since the 90s last year. The Saints almost made the SB as recently as 06 before this year. If you put those 3 teams up there and tell the world that all 3 teams will make the playoffs and the Saints wont then the world will disagree.

Florio is king of the d-bags.
If he’s not gonna include the Saints in his little prediction guess fest, than he should have the balls to explain why that is. This little guy is so self-deluded and clueless. What is he, 5’ 2"? 4’ 9"? He reeks of short man complex.

Way to step out on a limb Florio
To make the play-offs and one-and-done, should be the topic. Saints have the 27th toughest schedule, and we don’t make the play-offs? What about the Saints next SB opponent? The Jets?
You think you know, and you don't know, and you never, ever will.-Jim Mora Sr.
The Chargers, of course.
Florio’s biggest fantasy is to make Chinese fingercuffs with the Chargers and Vikings.
I know who i am! I'm the dude playing the dude disguised as another dude!
Recent history states that most about half of returning SB champs don’t make the playoffs. Recent history also shows that teams don’t repeat as champions in the NFC south. Saying the Saints don’t make the playoffs isn’t stupidity, it’s probability based on recent historical fact. All of us obviously hope we buck the trend, but the fact is with the target on our backs we’ll have to be even better than last year just to make it to the post season.
It’s obvious you guys hate Florio. But can people please start basing that hate on something factual rather than feelings of “my dad can beat up your dad”.
Will we win the division? Maybe not. But I’m sorry, if two teams from the NFC North can make it last year with 11+ wins when their entire division had like the softest schedules on the planet, then there is no legitimate reason to think that we can’t at least make the wild card with a similar difficulty of schedule.
Still, I prefer them to disbelieve us. More locker room bait.
Sorry to disagree again
…but I’ve never seen any real use for history outside of a present season to predict how things will unfold. It seems that the modern NFL with free agency and so much change on each team every offseason kinda throws the history of past seasons out the window. I guess my point is that anything can happen this year and just because things happened a certain way in previous seasons doesn’t mean it will again…unless you believe in curses or something similar. I also don’t buy the NFC South thing about teams not repeating. Call me crazy, but I chalk that up to coincidence and teams who finished poorly one season going up against teams that also finished poorly during the next season and vice versa. There’s no doubt we’ll have a harder road this year. But, I don’t see how the Bucs and Panthers will improve enough to compete for the division. Only the Falcons look capable of beating us out for it.
I think our dislike of Florio goes a little deeper than what you suggest. All we have to base this on are his articles and there’s rarely anything “factual” about those.

What do u mean by "you guys"?
and wtf do u mean by most about half? which is more ur half or my half? and got 1 for recent history, how do u explain the Saints winning the SB after 43 yrs? Where’s that stat? and IMO anyone defending Florio is not a Saints fan!
That was Saint NEXT SB opponent,(comma) The Jets

florio is an idiot
i remember vikings and saints fans fighting over who florio actually hated more becasue both were convinced it was them. i just read an article that he wrote about the world cup. obviously he doesnt like soccer, but he made it sound like the mothership is holding a gun to his head. i should have realized earlier it was his article i was reading.

If Favre returns — and stays as healthy as he has been during 19 prior seasons — the Vikings will have a great shot at getting back into the postseason.
Some Jets fans want a word with Florio about how healthy Favre stayed during his season with them.
"I want to hand this trophy to the MVP of the Super Bowl -- and the MVP of the entire league.''
-- Saints coach Sean Payton, handing the Vince Lombardi Trophy to Drew Brees after Super Bowl 44.
Didn’t click the link or read the comments, save to see that Florio wrote this. I bet the 6 were: Vikings, Colts, Cowboys, Chargers, Ravens, Packers.
Obviously he doesn’t like the Saints and won’t pick them. But the picks aren’t in themselves much of a reason to hate on Florio, though I think only 4/5 of those 6 will make it. Those are obvious picks at this point of the offseason. Whatever he wrote in the rest of the article will be the annoying BS I don’t need to read to know I dislike the guy.
