Minor Update on America's Game: The 2009 New Orleans Saints

Many of us have openly wondered when we will get to see the NFL Films hour-long tribute to the New Orleans Saints AWESOME Super Bowl season, as well as speculated on who will narrate said film.

Well, today I took matters into my own hands a bit and googled "America's Game" to see what I could dig up regarding release dates of previous America's Game DVDs and/or original air dates.

I found out that they've only been making them since 2006, and that the last few have debuted in September, just prior to the season's start (2006 Colts - September 5, 2007; 2007 Giants - September 3, 2008; 2008 Steelers - September 9, 2009).  I'm guessing the NFL Network would be the channel of the debut.  For more info, check out the wikipedia entry for America's Game: The Super Bowl Champions

So, it seems we can look forward to an early September air date for this highly-anticipated release.

And now, in the heat of June/July and the doldrums of no real NFL action, we can either speculate more on who will narrate it, or bug Dave to open up the All-Time CSC Saints Team vote, or just throw some burgers on the grill...
