Initial reports say he left the party before the (non-fatal) shooting. However, one of the guests at the party was a fellow conviced defendant in the dog murder case. Can't this guy just open his eyes and walk away from his past? How many chances does he need before he gets it right?
I'm not saying he's guilty of anything but if you don't want to get involved in a mess like this then it's time to RE-choose your friends. Jeeeeeez!

As for Vick, he didn’t deserve his first second chance, and it will probably end up that the majority of Eagles fans are right, he’ll be gone soon enough.
Can’t say I have any sympathy for him, he chose his path, and this is where it lead.

Nope. There’s no accent…it’s not Favré. It should be pronounced something like FAAAV (ruh). The closest Americans can come to that is “Farve.” I’m sure the French would shake their heads too, if they cared.

Is there really no other news for NFL writers to talk about. So Vick was at a party, left the party, and then there was a shooting and then you say:
Can’t this guy just open his eyes and walk away from his past?
That is exactly what he did, he walked away, no charges have been filed against him, he left the party before anything went wrong. No I’m no friend of Vick, but this whole story is just a waste of time.

Yes, he left before them. How long did he hang out with them before that.
By walking away from his past I mean no longer associating with those who were your “associates” during your toubled times. Time to get a new group to hang out with. Preferable a group with no criminal record.
As I said in the original post, “I’m not saying he’s guilty of anything” except a continuation of bad judgement, perhaps? Isn’t that what landed his butt in jail in the first place?

It’s also possible that the “new evidence” that someone alleges exists, has Vick on tape much closer/during the shooting.
