I agree with him that we have to give Wil-Mis-Pay the benefit of the doubt as we let it all play out and see what happens.

I am inferring from you pre-reply

that this is “gambling”, but I’m not at all sure that was what you were trying to imply. IMO management does not see it as a gamble; they see it as good business decisions and have confidence that other players will do at least an adequate job in filling those positions. Maybe all personnel decisions are gambles; but I don’t think these 2 decisions involve a real high degree of risk. I also give management the benefit of the doubt.

good point on the gambling angle - I hadn't considered that when I dropped the Kenny Rogers lyric
