It's always nice to visit a client's home town every once in a while, but last weekend's trip to Elton, Louisiana was exceptionally fun. It was "Al Woods Day" in this small town of three to four thousand folks, and I swear each and every one of them came out to celebrate Al's promotion to NFL's New Orleans Saints.
The Coca-Cola distributors of Southwest Louisiana did an amazing job of hosting the event. There was food, drinks, a parade, custom t-shirts made in Al's honor, etc. Coke definitely did their best to make the day one that Al and the city of Elton would never forget. As I tell you about the day went down, I'm quickly realizing that some stories are better told with pictures. So check out these that came from Al's girlfriend's camera, so you can comprehend just how amazing this day really was.
