ESPN New York's Rich Cimini is hearing that the Jets' signing of free agent Mark Brunell "could take a few days."
Brunell is 40 and no longer an on-field asset, so the Jets probably don't want to guarantee him any money in case he flops on the practice field in training camp. If he makes the Week 1 roster, he'll cost about $1 million.
