Who Dat Nation Spreads East

Saw Drew Brees today in Mobile on a busy book-signing day.  Drew says 1800 people showed up in Pensacola, then the Mobile stop, then a later stop in Mississippi.

The bookstore began distributing numbers at the bookstore in Mobile at 5 yesterday.  I arrived at 5 and that was good enough to earn me number 354, meaning about a 90 minute wait Saturday to get 2 books signed.

Good to see the bandwagon has not emptied at all since February.  Drew probably signed 1500 to 2000 books in Mobile after the Pensacola stop.  And the Championship Tour comes to town on Wednesday at the Mobile Convention Center.

More evidence of the regional appeal of this team.  Yes, every team has regional appeal after they win the Super Bowl but it was gratifying to see a state so enamored of college football often to the exclusion of the NFL turn out for Drew.

Bring on the season!  Bring on the TWO DAT!

I wish it would spread to Cowgirl land

Since we have so many Katrina refugees still here he would have a great turnout. Before the SB I could never find anything Saints here but it was always sold out when I did.
