PhotoOp hurt.... GAAAAAAA!!!!
Jeff Duncan tweets: Lynell hamilton went down late in the workout today. Helped from field by trainers. Waiting for word on status from Payton.
Payton said Hamilton's injury was to his knee, "kind of a freak deal." Said it happened when he planted. Said tests are being done on joint.
So tell me again, who's going to assume Mike Bell's carries? PT? PJ? Ivory? REGGIE??? GAAAAA!!! Accountability Index update is coming.....

Let's hope it's not serious
He does have a history of injuries. He’s been putting in the extra work for more carries this year, so I hope he won’t have to miss too much time. Here’s the moment for Hill and Ivory to step up and make the team. Hill and Ivory? That kinda sounds like it could be the name of a soap brand.

or a 70s comedy about 2 cops with opposite personalities.
But Hamilton has some time to heal up. Let’s hope it gets back to the show of Thomas, Bush & Hamilton. Now that just sounds like a law firm.

I think so
Don’t know for sure yet, but it sure looks like he’s done for the year. Wouldn’t be surprised if they sign Ladell Betts now. He was in recently for a visit.

Lynell Hamilton-RB- Saints Aug. 11 – 11:27 am et
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Saints believe the knee injury sustained by Lynell Hamilton Wednesday morning is a torn ACL.
It’s a tough break for Hamilton, who was on track to pick up many of the inside touches that Mike Bell handled last year. There’s now a much stronger chance that Pierre Thomas will take over goal-line duties, though he’ll have to hold off young power backs P.J. Hill and Chris Ivory. The Saints could also revisit free agent Ladell Betts.
