Because I'm a bit confused all I hear is negativity. I really don't like our schedule and I don't think we will win 13 this year, but I expect us to go unbeaten in the NFC South and win 11 or 12 games and repeat as NFC South Champs. When was the last time that happened? I make some bold predictions about player productivity and all I get is cold water dumped on by the barrel. Guys, this is the time for optimism. This is the time for saying Brees will set the season td record. This is time for saying the Saints will score 45 points a game. I know they have let us down so many times in the past. I saw John Gilliam's kick return. So, I know the heartache, which is being a Saints fan. But we won the Super Bowl. Now, is our time to crow and brag and look for a repeat and talk trash about dynasties and stuff. Lighten up. I make some joking predictions with my post on the state of the NFC South and I find myself defending them. I know that Atlanta's coach is in no trouble, but I'm tired of hearing how they are going to oust the Saints as NFC South Champs. So, I put in a joke about their coach getting fired for an 8 - 8 season. It's just that I'm tired of hearing how great they are. They beat Kansas City and got hammered by New England. There defense looks unorganized and all their fan posts are about who is out their that they can get as a number two receiver. They're talking trash on their fan sites, why are the Super Bowl Champ fans wringing their hands about the number three running back? I frankly don't care who is number three, I see only two backs getting 90% of the carries and Reggie keeps running up the gut like he did this weekend, then he may get those short yardage runs. I really liked his 8 yard td run. Right up the gut, none of that dancing crap. Someone mentioned that he has been a different back since that "bring the wood" game and I agree. Lighten up and enjoy this time, because the season starts in two weeks and then everyone is unbeaten and our championship is on the line again. HAVE SOME FUN!!!!!
However, Santa could we have a couple of linebackers for an early Christmas present....Thanks
