2theadvocate.com | Sports | Casillas emerges during camp — Baton Rouge, LA
When Shanle strained his left knee early in camp and missed a week of practice, second-year pro Jonathan Casillas filled in for him during two-a-days.
A couple of days after Shanle returned, the coaches held him out of the preseason opener against the New England Patriots as a precaution and Casillas took advantage with 10 solo tackles and a sack.

I hope this settles the debate on what side Shanle played on
Although I dont think it does. Shanle and Williams both agree that Shanle was the weakside LB last year but Im positive I saw him playing alot on the TE last year. Williams and Shanle are both saying he is taking the transition in strides I guess thats a good thing since I remember him playing strongside all last year. Unless Im wrong which is very possible in the monday night Falcons game Gonzo lit him up all over the field.
