Monday Night Football Open Thread

I was getting ready to start an open thread in anticipation for Monday Night Football when I flipped on ESPN to check what time the game started and saw that it already had. Looks like I'm late to the party so I won't waste any more time...

...this thread is open! Who's out there watching?

I think the rain delay got to them...

I left the room and didn’t go back until mid-second quarter…

Which brings up a question…

WTF are they going to do when it’s SNOWING on the day of the Superbowl? Will there be a snow delay?

Tomlinson looked pretty good

but that was about it for the Jets on offense.

I’m not saying ti was all his fault, but he sucked… and sucked most when it counted.

Not that it’s a compliment to anyone else on that team….

I only saw the second half, so many he was lighting it up in the first half to get them those two field goals.

plus Jamaal Charles and Phil Rivers in tonights’ game. And the top points was 175 in my league so I could surpass that.

I’m watching the stats progress on nfl.com, and listening to the game in the background. According to nfl.com, the Chiefs have 101 yards rushing and 4 yard passing! What would CP say about that kind of imbalance?!

me

I miss him and TJ doing the Sunday night highlights before Sunday Night Football – NFL PrimeTime was a great show.

And his explosive “boompfh! boompfh!” whenever Alstott or some other back would pound the rock up the middle of the LOS.

I also loved it when the clock would be running out and he says “Tick! TickTickTickTick!” as a team tries to hurry snap and get off a last play.

And he and TJ team up on these gems:

Boomer names a player and says "From – " and TJ says “Louisville”

Boomer asks “What do you do on a hail mary?” TJ – “You gotta knock it down!!!”

and I’m just getting started…

It's gonna be a great year.

I’m hating this San Diego game, I’m going to get knocked out of my survivor league in the first week

Ouch, that is bad to get knocked out of your own game in week one.

I’m hating it more because I needed Rivers to put up like 60 fantasy points so I could have a shot this week. We’re a high scoring league (current score is 171 to 233), but still, I’m getting mauled so far.
