Monday Night Football Open Thread
I was getting ready to start an open thread in anticipation for Monday Night Football when I flipped on ESPN to check what time the game started and saw that it already had. Looks like I'm late to the party so I won't waste any more time...
...this thread is open! Who's out there watching?

I think the rain delay got to them...
I left the room and didn’t go back until mid-second quarter…
Which brings up a question…
WTF are they going to do when it’s SNOWING on the day of the Superbowl? Will there be a snow delay?
Want to go to the Saints vs. Cowboys game? I've got an extra ticket.
God, what's wrong with you Dave! So late.

I never even saw the contest :( Was so busy that week.
Started my new job, and all that, which is actually going to take me to your neck of the woods Thursday. I’m totally thinking about stopping by your store.

Hey didn't think we were having an open thread or woulda been here sooner.
Week 2 matchup: 49ers

Go Ravens
Finally they get into the redzone and don’t turn it over. Sheesh.
Not surprisingly, the Jets already have 9 penalties for nearly 100 yards.
I don't want to make this thread dirty or anything
but check out the picture of Rex Ryan on the SBNation MNF thread:

I think I’m the only one who recognized him, superfan that I am. Saw him as I went to my seat.
As it turns out, he was just waiting there in first class for everyone to de-board when we landed in Chicago. So I locked eyes and he nodded in acknowledgement and gave me a “How ya doin?” I said hello, told him I was a big fan then said, “I want to see them play football next year.”
I was pretty proud of myself.

sorry I missed it – staff meeting night at school, then I had to send out my college football picks and now I’m in bed watching the game trying to make myself go to sleep (I have to be at work @ 7am), but I can’t turn off CSC or the MNF game 2.
Watched a bit of Jets-Ravens (reminded me of vintage Jim Mora football), and I must say that either both their defenses are awesome, or we don’t have much to worry about in “outscoring” if we meet either team in the SB.
