When do the Saints get any respect?

I have been reading other team's forums, the major mags, newspapers, etc. and they seem to think that the Saints are prime for being upset this week. The 49'ers fans point to the lack of offense by the Saints against the Vikes. Had our kicker not had a bad game, we would have won 20 - 9. The Vikes showed no sign of moving the ball with any consistency and they had every reason to want this game. The Saints were just business like and gave them an old fashion whooping. I really am tired of the Sidney Rice excuse. Favre was out manuevered by the coaching staff. He expect a blitz fest and didn't get it. The old man misread coverage after coverage. They can blame the lack of training camp all they want, but the ultimate veteran qb had happy feet and trouble reading the coverage schemes. A couple of times the Saints overplayed their hand and got caught between schemes, but for the most part, Coach Williams had the old vet looking around and finding squat. I was more impressed with the defense than I have ever been. This was a no-holds barred, hard hitting, take no prisoners defense. They tackled well and the Vikings' YAC was almost non-existent. So after looking at the upset predictions for this week http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2010/writers/peter_king/09/16/weekend.pickoff.week.2/index.html. I predict the following:

New Orleans 45 San Francisco 10: Seattle is not a very good team and they ripped the Niners up. Singletary is not a very good coach and Sean and the gang have had 9 days to scheme this game. It won't be even close.

Semi-UPSET Special:

I hesitate to call this an upset. The Bucs are an up and coming team and the Panthers are just a mess. Even the fans here don't believe in them anymore. Their offense is horrible and their defense has no depth.

Tampa Bay 20 Carolina 9

Real Upset Special:

I really think the Colts are prime for an implosion on defense. Sanders is out again and they don't seem to be able to stop the run.

New York Giants 34 Indianapolis 28
